The level of public satisfaction with various government programs is not merely a statistical figure in a survey. Behind these figures lies a picture of the extent to which implemented policies are able to address public needs. When the majority of the public gives a positive assessment, it indicates that the government’s programs are beginning to have tangible benefits.

The results of the National Survey on Government Performance Evaluation and Current Strategic Issues released by Poltracking Indonesia show public optimism regarding several priority government agendas. One area of concern is the presence of Danantara Indonesia, an institution projected to strengthen the management of state assets and investments.

Poltracking Indonesia researcher, Ahmad Zia Fitrahudin, explained that the level of public trust in Danantara reached 54.4 percent. This figure is higher than the group of people who expressed no trust. According to him, this finding reflects public expectations in Danantara’s ability to support national economic growth.

This trust is crucial for an institution still in the process of strengthening its role. Public support is needed for the various transformation steps to be implemented more effectively. At the same time, high public expectations also pose a challenge for Danantara to demonstrate its performance through tangible results.

In addition to trust, the survey also recorded a public satisfaction rate of 51.5 percent for Danantara. This greater positive assessment compared to the dissatisfied group indicates that the public is beginning to view the institution’s work direction with optimism.

This finding is interesting because it demonstrates that the public is not solely judging based on plans or concepts presented by the government. The public is beginning to see the potential contribution Danantara can make in strengthening national investment and optimizing the management of state assets.

This optimism regarding the government’s priority programs is also linked to the relatively stable national economic conditions. Amid ongoing global economic dynamics, the government continues to strive to ensure stability remains a top priority.

Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, explained that the government, along with the Ministry of Finance, Bank Indonesia, and the Financial Services Authority, continues to coordinate intensively to monitor national economic developments. This step is being taken to anticipate any changes in the global situation early on.

According to Prasetyo, the public should not be overly concerned about exchange rate fluctuations or current economic dynamics. The government assesses that Indonesia’s economic fundamentals remain strong, supported by a number of positive indicators.

Maintained economic growth and controlled inflation are important factors supporting this confidence. With a strong foundation, Indonesia is considered capable of facing various economic challenges arising from both foreign and domestic sources.

Efforts to maintain economic stability are crucial because the impact is directly felt by the public. When prices are relatively controlled and economic activity continues, there is more room for businesses to develop. This situation ultimately influences public satisfaction with the government’s performance.

The Minister of Finance, Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, expressed a similar view. He assessed that Indonesia’s economic growth in the first quarter of 2026 is not merely a figure in a statistical report, but is reflected in economic activity in various regions.

According to Purbaya, the government continues to monitor economic developments through various indicators as well as direct observations on the ground. Busy trade activities, high visits to shopping centers, and the growth of the service sector indicate that the national economy is still moving well.

In several major cities, public activity remains high. Traditional markets are still busy, trade centers are operating actively, and various economic activities are proceeding normally. These conditions are one indicator that people’s purchasing power is still maintained.

Purbaya also observed high public mobility during the long holiday period. Tourist areas in various regions are crowded with visitors, while hotel and lodging occupancy rates show a positive trend. This phenomenon demonstrates that household consumption remains a key driver of national economic growth.

These various achievements ultimately contribute to the formation of a positive public perception of government programs. Public satisfaction arises when policies designed…

capable of making a real impact on daily life.

Therefore, the survey results showing high levels of trust in Danantara and optimism regarding the national economic condition can be interpreted as a reflection of the government’s efforts to maintain stability while encouraging development. The public sees the government’s seriousness in strengthening the economic foundations and preparing for greater growth in the future.

Certainly, there is still much work to be done. However, the relatively high levels of trust and satisfaction indicate that the government’s policy direction has received broad support. This support is crucial for ensuring the sustainability of various national priority programs.

Ultimately, the success of a program is measured not only by the targets achieved, but also by public acceptance of the resulting benefits. When the public perceives the positive impact of implemented policies, satisfaction levels will naturally grow.
