Enthusiasm of State Guests Attend Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin’s Inauguration

The inauguration of Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin as President and Vice President of Indonesia for the 2019-2024 period takes place today, 17 Heads of state and special envoys from neighboring countries will be present at the inauguration of the elected President-Vice-President. The inauguration will take place at the DPR / MPR Building, Jakarta.
Later the head of state will also get escort from the Presidential Security Force (Paspampres) who will guard from coming to Indonesia to returning to his home country. The inauguration ceremony of the President and Vice President will be guarded by 31,000 joint personnel of the Indonesian National Police,
The special safeguards are prepared optimally in order to provide a good image for Indonesia in the eyes of the International.
The government has also prepared at least 18 cars to be used by state guests who will attend the Inauguration Ceremony of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia.
Bambang Soesatyo as chairman of the MPR said that 168 Ambassadors from neighboring countries would attend to witness the inauguration of Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin. National figures such as Former President Megawati Soekarno Putri and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono did not escape.
In addition, Prabowo Subianto and Sandiaga Uno were also mentioned to be present at the inauguration procession.
The inauguration is planned to run with a duration of about 1 hour. Bambang hopes that the inauguration of the elected President and Vice President can run smoothly, in an orderly manner and in accordance with all the preparations that have been made.
In the inauguration, there will be an entertainment and culinary stage of the archipelago which is presented free of charge on the same day as the inauguration.
This is of course a form of gratitude for the election of Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin as President and Vice President.
The Entertainment Stage will be enlivened by the appearance of cultural arts from 34 provinces in Indonesia, of course this will be something interesting for guests from various countries who come to witness the event.
The presence of 9 Heads of Countries Around Asia certainly shows that the international world shows its recognition of the legitimate leadership of the Indonesian State.
So there is no other choice for the Indonesian people not to provide support to the Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin government as the highest leader in Indonesia.
At the Southeast Asian level, Jokowi is seen as an influential figure, even the Engineer Organizations of the 10 ASEAN countries that are members of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organization (AFEO) agreed to give awards to President Jokowi last September.
The award received by Jokow is the highest AFEO award given to heads of state who have provided outstanding services and contributions to the engineering profession and engineering fields in their countries.
The award is only given to 1 recipient at each conference event which is held once a year. The recipient of the award is the head of state or head of government of a country such as the king, president or prime minister.
The award is certainly a showcase of pride that displays the achievements of Indonesia’s development to the international world.
Certainly it is natural that the head of a neighboring country appreciates what Jokowi has done so that he can be re-elected to carry out the mandate of the Indonesian people to become the head of state along with his deputy Ma’ruf Amin.
President Jokowi’s inauguration was apparently not only attended by leaders and special envoys of neighboring countries, but also from friendly countries in Africa that were quite far away, such as Eswatini.
Meanwhile, a number of countries such as the US, Japan and South Korea will also send special envoys to attend President Jokowi’s inauguration.
President Trump assigned Transportation minister Elaine L Chao, Japan to be represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Norihiro Nakayama, and South Korea to be represented by Presidential Chief of Staff Noh Young-Min.
South Korean Ambassador to Indonesia Kim Chang-beom said Noh’s delegation to attend the inauguration reflected the warm and close friendship between the two leaders and the special strategic partnership between Indonesia and South Korea.
The presence of a guest of state for the inauguration will certainly be a good sign of diplomatic relations between countries, so that in the next 5 years friendship between countries can be maintained.
