Facing of the Annual Meeting of the IMF – World Bank, Bali is intensifying

CIDISS. Ahead of the annual meeting of the IMF – World Bank, various improvements have been made to support the implementation of the annual IMF meeting – the World Bank is running well in Bali, Indonesia.

The IMF-World Bank meeting will take place on 8-14 October 2018 in Nusa Dua, Badung Regency, Bali, which will be attended by around 18 thousand delegates from 189 countries. The delegates were heads of state, finance ministers, central bank governors, representatives of the people, business people, non-governmental organizations, academics to the media.

Deputy III for Infrastructure at the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs, Ridwan Jamaluddin, said that he had curbed at least 222 ships docked in Tanjung Benoa Port, Bali. This is done so that the port is safe and tidy

Ridwan wanted the delegations from various countries to come, the scenery was not disturbed by ships that were not orderly there. According to him, it is not easy to discipline ships that dock. In addition, Ridwan said that the control of the vessel was related to security. He did not want the ship fire to happen again. “We want to be more presentable at the event (IMF),” he said.

Previously, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said the preparation of the annual IMF meeting – the World Bank had reached 85 percent. The preparation said Luhut, covering the place, security, Garuda Wisnu Kencana and transportation. Meanwhile, the remaining 15 percent is only for the implementation of IMF – World Bank meetings.

Improvement and improvement of facilities in Badung Regency, Bali in an effort to support the implementation of the IMF annual meeting – the World Bank is a step for the government and the people of Indonesia to ensure the implementation of the meeting is safe and memorable. Hopefully with this meeting, it can be an event for Indonesia to introduce to the world that our country deserves the world’s attention in terms of its economic development.
