Defence is an important instrument nowdays, due to that issue Indonesia Defence Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu said Indonesia should have several Russian fighter jets, the 11 Su-30 and Su-27 five. Su-35 is a fighter jet with the latest technology that is superior fighter jets in its class and Indonesia will purchase ten units of Sukhoi Su-35 from Russia.
Ryamizard revealed that in March he will travel to Russia to be a speaker at the Russian Defense Force and simultaneously signed the purchase contract Sukhoi Su-35 which is already a strategic plan in 2016.
Furthermore, he said, Indonesia would soon be sending a number of pilots and technical staff to Russia for training operate jet fighter. Advanced fighter jets made in Russia that would replace the squadrons of F-5 fighter jets made in America.
Indonesia and Russia will also collaborate transfer of technology by sending a few members of the military to study in Russia. The members of the TNI is expected to absorb knowledge and later apply it in Indonesia.
Currently the Air Force to get the fund of 3.1 billion dollars, or about 41 trillion rupiah for the modernization of its weapons systems.
