President Joko Widodo said mass transportation system in Indonesia has entered a new stage; subway transportation. Therefore, he asked all parties to support the ‘subway` construction.
“We are entering a new stage, subway transportation. This is historical. Therefore, I hope there won’t be any problem in the construction of MRT subway,” said Jokowi on Thursday, Oct 8.
Earlier this morning, Jokowi inspected MRT drilling site, which has reached 12 meters deep. It is expected that the drilling would go as far as 8 meters deep a day.
On his visit, Jokowi said that he is delighted with the construction. He believes that the process has also delivered technology transfer to the local experts.
