PB ESI’s Commitment to Advance Indonesian Esport Makes Achievements at the Esport Championship in Bali

The Indonesian National Esport Team because the National Team (Timnas) Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) made it to the grand final round of the Esport championship in Bali. This success is a manifestation of PB ESI’s commitment, currently chaired by Police General (P) Budi Gunawan, to produce outstanding athletes.
Good news for supporters of the Indonesian Mobile Legend Bang Bang (MLBB) National Team who finally managed to continue to score wins and finally bagged a Grand Final ticket at the IESF Bali 14th WEC 2022.
The success in advancing to the final match was obtained by the Indonesian National Team after defeating the Cambodian Team in the upper bracket final today, Tuesday (6/12). In this case, the game played by the Indonesian national team was very good, because they were able to steal the score with a 2-1 win.
The match against Cambodia was somewhat tough. In the first round, the Indonesian national team itself had experienced difficulties with Cambodia’s very aggressive game. Because the Cambodian team immediately managed to get first blood in the first round.
The situation then reversed when the Indonesian national team’s game was balanced with defensive techniques which were also very good, so that in the early game they took the lead. Meanwhile, when the mid-game started, it turned out that the Cambodian team had gained a lot of important momentum to change the flow of the game so that they dominated. Finally, in the first half the Cambodian team led with a score of 0-1.
In the second half, the Indonesian National Team then started the game much more aggressively. Finally, the Cambodian team, which at first led, finally had to accept defeat by the Indonesian national team with a final score of 2-1. Meanwhile, one of the MLBB Indonesia National Team players, Jabran ‘Branz’ Bagus stated that they were very happy with the result of the victory.
The implementation and success of Indonesian Esport cannot be separated from the role and commitment of Mr. Budi Gunawan as the Head of PB ESI to be able to continue to advance the country’s esport ecosystem.

Bambang Sunarwibowo explained that the success of organizing an international esport event in Bali cannot be separated from good coordination and synergy between the PBESI department and many other related parties such as the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) to the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf). . Not only that, but PBESI also cooperates with various national esport community organizations to be able to determine various fundamental needs and interests.

This appreciation was directly aimed at Budi Gunawan because he was considered to have been very successful in holding the IESF Bali 14 th WEC 2022 and producing quality athletes.
