Religion Ministry confirmed that total of 14 pilgrims from Indonesia died in the tragedy that occurred in Mina, Saudi Arabia in 24 September 2015. Director General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Hajj and Umrah Abdul Djamil said that all pilgrims were confirmed dead have been identified remains.
“The coordination and our search to various parties, until the date of 26 September 2015, we get more information the victim’s death. From the beginning the carrying two people, this time carrying a total of 14 persons died,” said Abdul.
Representing the government of Indonesia, Abdul offered condolences on the death toll in the tragedy. The Ministry will certainly continue to coordinate and deliver information related to the development of the tragedy.
Until now, continued Abdul, incoming government continued to verify if there is data received from the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. “We are also witnessing the condition of the victim, matching the data with a database, and contacted the head of the fleet or the relatives of the victims to ascertain the identity of pilgrims,” he said.
Ministry of Religious Affairs released the latest data related tragedy in Mina, Saudi Arabia, in the organization of the pilgrimage this year. Up to now there are 112 assembly which has not returned to maktab or boarding.
