Rizieq Shihab seems to have caused endless anxiety, his provocative speeches often caused wounds and damage, so the authorities had to secure him before his provocations spread.
The incitement case and the violation of the health protocol in Petamburan seem to be the case that dragged Rizieq Shihab to court. The Supreme Court (MA) has appointed the East Jakarta District Court (PN) to examine and decide non-criminal health quarantine case files.
The Head of the Information and Law Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung), Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak said, the team of public prosecutors is preparing to hand over the four case files to the East Jakarta district court completed with indictments.
In the first file, Habib Rizieq is suspected of having violated Article 160 of the Criminal Code and Article 93 of Law Number 6 of 2018 concerning health quarantine in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code and Article 216 of the Criminal Code jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.
Then, the AGO has also prepared case files for the suspected child marriage committee from Rizieq, Haris Ubaidilah and friends. Including MS, AAA, ASL and IAH were suspected of violating article 93 of law number 6 of 2018 concerning health quarantine jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st KUHP and Article 216 KUHP jo. Article 55 paragraph (1).
The two case files are for cases that took place in Tebet Utara 28 South Jakarta and KS Tubun Petamburan Central Jakarta on November 13 2020 and November 14 2020 and November 14 2020. The investigation process was transferred to the East Jakarta district court based on the decision letter of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 49 / KMA / SK / II / 2021 February 24, 2021.
Furthermore, the AGO has also prepared case files for Ummi Hospital Doctors, AA and friends. AA, MR and MHA are suspected of having violated article 14 and / or article 15 of law number 1 of 1946 concerning criminal law regulations and / or article 14 paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) of Law Number 4 of 1984 concerning disease disease transmitted to article 216 of the Criminal Code jo. Article 55 of the Criminal Code and Article 56 of the Criminal Code.
The case files for the case that occurred at the Bogor City Ummi hospital on November 27, 2020, were transferred to the East Jakarta district court based on the Decree of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 50 / KMA / SK / II / 2021 on February 23, 2021.
The final file is intended for Rizieq. He is suspected of having violated Article 14 paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) of Law Number 4 of 1984 concerning outbreaks of infectious diseases. Then Habib Rizieq is also suspected of having violated article 93 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 6 of 2018 concerning health quarantine and article 216 of the Criminal Code.
The case files are for the case that took place at the Mega Mendung Bogor Agro-Cultural Islamic Boarding School, Bogor on November 13, 2020.
Rizieq’s examination process was transferred to the East Jakarta District Court based on the Decree of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 48 / KMA / SK / II / 2021.
Previously, we already knew that the leader of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Rizieq Shihab was under intense scrutiny because his activities did not comply with health protocols. The activities he carries out always invite a large crowd.
Marius Widjajarta as a health observer, always questions the absence of a warning given by the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta. So that the FPI High Priest arbitrarily violates the health protocol.
He asked that there should be no selective logging against health offenders. Do not just give sanctions only to ordinary people, but no action against the elites.
Meanwhile, member of the Indonesian Ombudsman, Ninik Rahayu, asked the security apparatus and the Covid-19 task force to strictly take action against violations of health protocols related to Rizieq Shihab who violated health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to Ninik, Rizieq is someone who is easily imitated by residents. If there is no firm action against it, then Indonesia will experience major problems related to the implementation of the Covid-19 health protocol.
What Habib Rizieq has done deserves a reward, especially since he deliberately held an event that invited a large crowd without paying attention to health protocols, so that the authorities and government should give him strict sanctions.
