Should Habib Rizieq Shihab’s Return be a Reconciliation Requirement?

Prabowo’s sympathizers, who are average followers of Habib Rizieq, seem to know the exact problem of Rizieq. They also understand what conditions must be completed if Rizieq wants to go home. But in public, now they pretend not to know. Even blaming the government, as if the government was blocking Rizieq’s return to Indonesia.
The Chairman of the Golkar Party DPP, Andi Sinulingga, considers that the reconciliation plan that provides guarantees for the return of FPI High Priest Habib Rizieq is something irrelevant.
This was because previously it was reported that Dahnil Azhar Simanjuntak said that better reconciliation was also carried out by repatriating Rizieq from Mecca to Indonesia.
Andi considered that the link between Habib Rizieq’s return and reconciliation between Prabowo and Jokowi was irrelevant, he suspected that there was a personal interest from Dahnil.
Even though the Indonesian Government never dragged Habib Rizieq out of Indonesia.
But if he sees his track record, Habib Rizieq has indeed been known as a person who often troubles this country with various painful provocative sayings.
Allegations of insults he did against the state, the government and also the Pancasila can still be heard on Youtube video sharing sites.
Even though Habib Rizieq Shihab was in Saudi Arabia, but over the past few years, it has also been proven that he has not been deterred from exhorting his provocative sentences. Even the provocative action was still heard during the 2019 election campaign.
If Rizieq is a knight community figure he should dare to go back to Indonesia without having to wait for a pickup, of course he must also be prepared if the door of his house is visited by the police to be examined for alleged violations of the law that the police have.
If we log on, Rizieq Shihab should not be afraid to return to Indonesia at any time, with no fear at all that law enforcement officers will immediately arrest him as soon as Rizieq arrives in the country.
But it seems, repatriating a provocative figure like Rizieq will certainly cause problems for Indonesia, because it is certain that he will scrutinize what he can do from Jokowi’s government – JK and Jokowi’s government – Ma’ruf Amin who has succeeded in making Prabowo Runner Up 2019.
If Habib Rizieq Shihab is still able to coax from Saudi Arabia, it is certainly conceivable if the figure is in Indonesia, maybe the May 22 action will continue in the Constitutional Court.
We must also understand that the purpose of reconciliation is to unite and strengthen the sense of nationalism that is already polarized by the 2019 Election.
If the condition of reconciliation is to repatriate the Provocateur Habib Rizieq, of course this will be contrary to the main purpose of reconciliation, and will add to the troubles later if after rizieq’s reconciliation reaches Indonesia, polarization will reappear due to Rizieq’s often provoking and unsettling remarks.
Moreover, Rizieq’s return business is a private matter, not a matter of a country with a population of more than 250 million people, there are still many state problems that can be considered rather than repatriating Habib Rizieq Shihab who does not obey the law.
Besides that, repatriating Rizieq Shihab is a hassle. The Indonesian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia has stated that there are indeed problems related to Rizieq’s return to the country. Because the factor overstayed the Arab kingdom valued at 110 million rupiah.
The problem is, Rizieq is not alone in Arabia, he is with his many wives and children. If I’m not mistaken all 8 people. So the fine to be paid is around 880 million rupiah.
That also does not include the price of airplane tickets from Arabia to Indonesia around 6 – 9 million rupiah per person. So that the return costs almost 1 billion rupiah to repatriate Rizieq.
The question is who would want to pay Rizieq’s return? After all, he and his family left without anyone being evicted. So that the assessment of Dahnil regarding Rizieq’s return as a condition of reconciliation is something that is unfounded and troublesome.
