Stop the Political Agenda of Former KPK Employees
By: Anggito Bramanto
KPK employees who do not pass the TWK are asked to resign, because the requirement to become a State Civil Apparatus (ASN) must pass the TWK. It is alleged that the failure of the KPK employees caused them to have a political agenda, and this was considered dangerous for the KPK internally.
We need to look at the CPNS test that has often happened, where there are formations of tens but who register up to hundreds, it is certain that more do not pass than those who pass. But for some reason at the KPK it was different, where there were thousands who passed and tens did not pass, while the dozens of employees who did not pass gave birth to polemics. Especially when some of them ask for sympathy from religious leaders in Indonesia.
The National Insight Test contains questions about diversity and pluralism in Indonesia. If 51 KPK employees do not pass the national insight test, it means that they do not have sufficient tolerance. Of course, it is natural that they do not qualify to become ASN in the KPK.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian Strategic Studies Advocacy Institute (LAKSI) stated that 51 employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) who did not pass the national insight test (TWK) deserved to be fired for openly resisting and reacting to the leadership. This of course can be concluded as a step of subordination to the legitimate government power.
LAKSI also rejects various attempts to lead opinions that could weaken the KPK leadership. It is said, TWK is the right and correct method used to legalize the mechanism for transferring the status of KPK employees to ASN. As a result, most of the KPK employees passed and a small portion was declared ineligible to be appointed as ASN.
Azmi Hidzaqi as the Chair of LAKSI, said that these 51 former KPK employees followed developments from the start by rejecting the revision of the 2019 KPK Law up to TWK, including postponing the inauguration of those who had graduated. He stated that it was clear that their motivation from the start was to want the KPK to become an independent institution, not only in the process of investigation and judicial demands, but independent outside the executive family.
Azmi said that this was the problem, what happened was that the KPK was increasingly difficult to control and seemed to be a superpower in eradicating corruption even though it had to be against the Republic of Indonesia.
The corruption jihad strategy that has been echoed by most of the former 75 KPK employees is often built through agitation, propaganda, provocation and fighting, which is clearly visible when the 75 KPK employees do not pass the TWK. Of course, this makes it difficult for them to serve as state servants who are obedient and loyal to the values of Pancasila and the Unitary Republic of Indonesia.
Azmi also said that these 51 KPK employees should be able to follow the rules to become ASN, so that if there are objections related to the TWK results, they can use the lawsuit mechanism to the state administrative court (TUN). Not even waging propaganda on social media and making noise.
Meanwhile, communication observer Ade Armando considered that the narrative of the weakening of the KPK due to the transfer of employee status to ASN was an exaggeration. This is because employees who are declared not to have passed the national insight test are only a small percentage. According to him, the employees who did not pass were trying to build a tragic drama to explain the reasons for not graduating.
He also believes that the TWK test for KPK employees is not a made-up test, moreover there are various institutions involved such as BKN, BIN, TNI AD Intelligence Center, Army Psychology Service, and BNPT.
Communications expert Emrus Sihombing, who assessed that the transfer of status of employees of the corruption eradication commission (KPK) to State Civil Apparatus (ASN) through TWK, Emrus assessed that this was part of an effort to eradicate corruption that was more systematic or organized than before. Moreover, the transfer of status is also something formal, aka an order from the law (UU). In other words, it is in accordance with Law Number 5 of 2014 concerning State Civil Apparatus or ASN Law.
Maybe the 51 KPK employees who did not qualify have not been able to move on from the results of the TWK received, of course this should be addressed maturely, not with various propaganda.
