A number of demonstrations have recently taken place after the DPR passed the Omnibus Law on the Job Creation Law. However, it turns out that only a few of the public really know the contents of the law. Indometer survey findings show that very few people hear or know about the omnibus law. Only 31.2 percent of the public knows, most as much as 68.8 percent admit they don’t know at all. In fact, all parties who know the law have agreed with the Omnibus Law.
It should be underlined that the demonstration which aims to reject the application of the Omnibus Law is a mass that is set to take action against. This can be seen from the survey results that the community agrees that the Omnibus Law has a positive impact on all parties. Confusion of information has resulted in many hoax accusations of the contents of the omnibus law in circulation.
The Job Creation Law is the first package in a series of omnibus laws initiated by President Jokowi. Therefore, all are expected to be able to support the Omnibus Law so that its implementation can be maximized, so that the positive impact given to Indonesia’s economic progress is maximized.
