As we know that the position of minister is determined by the President, where the President has the prerogative to elect and even reshufle ministers from his cabinet.
Names like Prabowo Subianto, who were Jokowi’s political opponents in the Presidential Election, were in fact chosen to help Jokowi at the Defense Minister’s Post, even though his supporting lines had ‘convulsed’ when he found out the figure who had been cheered up to join his opponent should be a friend.
The election of Prabowo Subianto as Minister should not need to be a stir, instead it would be nice to support this because by joining Prabowo into the Jokowi cabinet, it is hoped that tensions in social media can ease.
In addition, excessive fanaticism in the political world also in fact only provides vanity, now is not the time to compete, now is the time for the government to collaborate with anyone who is ready to work hard for the Republic of Indonesia, even though it was a political opponent.
In addition, the figure who had stolen the attention was, the figure of Nadiem Makarim, founder and CEO of Gojek who had officially become the minister of education and culture. The Singapore-born man also became the youngest minister in the 35-year-old Jokowi-Ma’ruf cabinet. This is in accordance with Jokowi’s promise to attract young ministers.
