The surprised news of Air Quality Index (AQI) reported the new data about air quality in all city of the world. Shockingly, Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan got score 515, the very dangerous level for citizen.
Moreover, temporary air pollution level of Palangka Raya is the top of the world, and higher than the score of air quality of city industry in other hemisphere. For example, Shanghai the one of the cities in china which the worst air pollution only got score 191.
In normal situation, Shanghai must more dirty than Palangka Raya. The scary air pollution index is cause of fire forest that government is going to stop the fire forest now.
On the air quality, the metropolitan city in the world normally in the level 51-100, it means the pollutant is tolerable. For example Jakarta has score 71, far under of Palangka Raya and Pekanbaru in secondary place which score 450.
The index score 101 – 150 is starting dangerous level to citizen. Air pollution index above 200 can cause disease or healthy failure. For the score above 300, like in Riau and Kalimantan, mean citizen will get serious disease slow or fast.
