Total solar eclipse will pass to Palangka Raya

CIDISS – Total solar eclipse (GMT) predicted will be happen in some provinces of Indonesia on next 9 March 2016. It is an opportunity to get more tourist and tourism promotion.
GMT will be happen during only 2 – 3 minutes and will pass on 12 provinces in Indonesia, i.e Bengkulu, West Sumatera, South Sumatera, Jambi, Bangka Belitung, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, West Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi and North Moluccas, also some big city such Palembang, Tanjung Pandang, Palangkaraya, Balikpapan, Palu, Ternate, and Sofifi.
Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan will also pass total solar eclipse. Board of Tourism and Creative economic has been scheduled some event under theme of Palangka Raya eclipse festival 2016. The event will be held on Sanaman Mantikei Stadium. It hopes increase the number of tourism.
Chief of Board of Tourism and Creative economic, Affendie has been coordination to manager hotel and travel agency. It is because will be many foreign tourist and local tourist come to Palangka Raya, then should be take advantage maximally on tourism promotion.
According to him, the advantage will get because solar eclipse only pass in land of Indonesia, then other area will be happen on sea. Moreover, this phenomenon will be over again 300 years in Indonesia.
The concept of Palangka Raya Eclipse Festival 2016 has designed as presented for tourists. The ceremony has scheduled on Monday at 2 pm and presented a fashion street and carnaval.
The next day will be held Rampau Nusantara by Sanggar (studio). They will present also traditional dance. Then, in the Wednesday will be held on ritual in the early morning at 5 – 6 am, because solar eclipse predicted will be at 6.20 am, then it continue to food and colossal dance performance.
Beside on Sanaman Mantikei stadium, there are 5 spots include on packet promotion of solar eclipse. The spots are Tugu Sukarno (Sukarno monument), Jembatan Kahayan (Jemabatan Kahayan), Sirkuit Sabaru (Sabaru circuit), Desa Wisata Sei Gohong (Sei Gohong Tourism village) and Bukit Tangkiling (Tangkiling Hill).
