CIDISS – Good news come from Muara Teweh, Barito Utara regency, Central Kalimantan Province. The hospital of Muara Teweh achieved national award. The hospital of Muara Teweh is the only one represent of Central Kalimantan Province.
The regent of Barito Utara, H Nadalsyah appreciated the award that is given by Social Security Provider (BPJS) health insurance. Regent said that this is as implementation of commitment of Government of Muara Teweh and BPJS health insurance.
Government of Barito Utara registered citizen as member of National Health insurance –healthy Indonesia Card (JKN-KIS) and covered by regional budget. Moreover, Barito Utara regency is ready to go to total coverage of health insurance of Barito Utara Regency in next of 2017.
According to regent, period July 2016, the member of BPJS Health insurance in Barito Utara regency is 95.862 people or 76 % from total people in the regency which has total around 126.494 people.
The award is directly given by General Director of BPJS Health insurance, Fachmi Idris to director of Muara Teweh Hospital, drg Dwi Agus Sejitowati in Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta, Wednesday (28/9/2016).
The award is based on assessment of participant of JKN-KIS thorough instrument Walk Through Audit (WTA).
Not only Muara teweh Hospital but also there is another 11 hospitals in Indonesia, i.e; Royal Prima Hospital (Medan), Dr Kariadi Hospital (Semarang), William Booth Hospital (Surabaya), Islam Arafah Hospital (Jambi), Siti Khadijah Hospital (Palembang), Sari Asih Karawaci Hospital (Tangerang), Majalaya Hospital (Soreang), Tingkat II Pelamonia Kesdam VII Hospital (Makassar), Undata Hospital (Palu), Kota Mataram Hospital (Mataram) and Mardo Waluyo Hospital.
