The KPK’s Special Committee on the Right of Questionnaire will schedule meetings with the Police in the Special Committee Meeting to correct the problems that have occurred so as not to further intensify the atmosphere, said Vice Chairman of the Special Committee for Questionnaire Risa Mariska.

“We from the PDI-P faction suggested the Special Committee to meet the Deputy Chief of Police to straighten out the existing problems so as not to become more tapered,” Risa said in Jakarta on Thursday.

He considered the meeting with the Police is very important because so far as there is a misunderstanding, especially about the steps of the Special Committee that want to improve the performance of the Corruption Eradication Commission.

Risa expects the Police to be a good mediator between the Pansus Questionnaires and the KPK because the House wants an evaluation of performance improvement.

“We want to improve the performance of the KPK so that what is not improved and the institution still exists,” he said.

Risa confirmed so far the communication between the House of Representatives with the Police goes well so do not get as if because of Pansus hence the relationship of both institutions perceived not good.

According to the PDI-P politician, the meeting schedule with the Police has not been determined because the Pansus must hold an internal meeting before determining it.

“We will have internal meetings once again to determine the timing of the parties which we will call in the meeting of the special committee after Lebaran,” he said.
