The amount of prostitute or known as PSK (having sex for profit) in Central Kalimantan Province is 1.207 PSK. Regarding the program from Social ministry of Indonesian Republic about 2019 Indonesia free of prostitution, then social agency of central Kalimantan will shut down the prostitution complex.
CIDISS – Prostitute or known as PSK (having sex for profit), this term is familiar in society. Many factor caused someone become a PSK. Economic problem, poor, is high motivation and factor that make someone or women choose PSK to get money. It is make the number of PSK is increasing rapidly year by year.
In Central Kalimantan Province, there are 1.207 PSK which is spread in regency and city of Province. Reported, prostitution complex in Sampit, Kotawaringin Timur regency is the highest by 424 PSK. Then, Palangka Raya is the second with amount of 239 PSK. Others number counting by PSK spread in other area such in regency of Kotawaringin Barat is 127 PSK, Barito Utara 151 PSK, Barito Timur 100 PSK, Katingan 98 PSK, Gunung Mas 30 PSK, Barito Selatan 20 PSK and Pulang Pisau 18 PSK.
The amount of PSK is increasing rapidly. It gets serious concern from Social Ministry of Indonesian Republic, then make program 2019 Indonesia free of Prostitution.
The program gets positive response from social agency (Dinas Sosial) of Central Kalimantan. The party will shut down the prostitution complex in area of Central Kalimantan. Then, it will affect on PSK will stop.
Before shut down the prostitution complex, Dinas Sosial and government of Regency / city will apply some steps. Chief of Rehabilitation on Dinas Sosial Central Kalimantan, Farid said that the party will apply some steps. In the beginning, the party will give information about the program to PSK.
Then, next step, the party will train the PSK with skill. PSK need to have train, in order they have skill. Then, they will not be PSK anymore or stop. In order word, the PSK will have a job.
After training, the PSK will be given a capital (fresh money) to open entrepreneurship for livelihood in their hometown. “The cast is about 5 million for one person PSK that has trained,” said him.
