CIDISS (Central Kalimantan) – Plantation sector is a sector in source income for a region. One of the plantations is rubber plantation. The price of rubber some years ago is quite low. It make farmer peevishly because low of price. Moreover, the price is around IDR 5.000 per kg.
In the beginning of 2017, farmer is happy because the price of rubber has increased significantly. It is said by Head of Plantation board Kotawaringin Barat regency, Central Kalimantan, Kamaludin.
Such happen in Arga Mulya village, Pangkalan Banteng district, farmer feels happy toward the increasing of rubber’s price.
Kamaluding admit that the price of rubber is stable on IDR 8.000 till 9.500 per kg.
“The price of rubber has not decided by regional government. But it’s from market, and around IDR 8.000 till 9.500 per kg,” said him such in Borneonews.com.
By the price, he added, farmer can enjoy the result and happy.
In kotawaringin barat, the rubber plantation is on Pangkalan Banteng and Pangkalan lada district. Another left is has source income from palm oil plantation.
As for illustration, one week, farmer can sell around 100 kg. It’s mean in a month; farmer can sell around 400kg. In short, farmer will have source income around IDR 3.5 million in a month.
