CIDISS – One of social problem in Indonesia is unemployment. In another side, the need of worker also increase and then many people chose work as contract labor or honorary.
As a province with large area in Indonesia, a thousand people of Central Kalimantan province work as contract laborer or honorary, including in government instruction or private sector.
Indonesian government thorough government regulation no 18 year 2016 has been made statement about efficiency budget and effectiveness performance. It will affect to erase the contract laborer and honorary in Central Kalimantan province.
Regarding to government regulation no 18 year 2016, regional government need to be ready to the implement of the regulation. Central Kalimantan has a thousand contract laborers and will effect on increasing unemployment, then it need a new job vacancy.
Member of Commission A Regional House Representative Central Kalimantan, Nataliasi stated that the regional government need to have any preparation regarding the implementation of regulation. It may effect on many people become jobless.
Nataliasi said, contract laborer and honorary is quite help the government service, then with the party, will be struggle in order contract labor will not erase regarding the number of state civil apparatus in Central Kalimantan is limited and need a contract labor.
“The existence of contract labor and honorary, we admitted it very helpful. We will coordinate to Minister of Home Affairs and State Minister for the Empowerment of State Apparatus in order the regulation is not implement in Central Kalimantan,” said Nataliasi such in Kaltengprokal.co
