Ahead of the Inauguration of AMANAH, Creative Container Packaging House Program for Aceh Youth Develops Creative Economy
Aceh – The new AMANAH building in Aceh is now present as a center for creative economic development, providing sophisticated facilities specifically designed to support the creativity of Aceh’s youth. One of the flagship programs offered is the Packaging House, which is part of President Jokowi’s grand vision in encouraging a business ecosystem for young people and revitalizing the local economy through innovation and creativity.
Rumah Kemasan acts as a center for developing packaging designs for local products created by Acehnese youth. Products such as perfume, tumblers, and other handicrafts gain added value through more attractive packaging designs that meet global market standards. The goal is for these local products to be able to compete in the international market, while increasing the competitiveness of the creative economy in Aceh.
Syaifullah, Chairman of the Syiah Kuala University (USK) Business Development Agency, stated that the facilities in the AMANAH Building will be a catalyst for innovation in Aceh. According to him, Rumah Kemasan, along with other facilities, will create a conducive environment for young people in Aceh to innovate and develop themselves. “This is a great opportunity to build a better future for Aceh,” he said.
Furthermore, Syaifullah emphasized that the training, research, and entrepreneurship development programs run at the AMANAH Building open up opportunities for the younger generation to create new businesses. “With the support of various parties, the AMANAH Building is expected to become a center of innovation that can drive the creative economy in Aceh,” he added.
The AMANAH program reflects President Jokowi’s vision in promoting the creative economy sector as a main pillar of national economic development. Support from the central and regional governments helps ensure that Aceh’s young generation has access to various facilities and programs that can improve their skills in technology, art, and entrepreneurship.
“The young generation of Aceh now has a bigger platform to create, learn, and collaborate. This is a golden opportunity to explore their potential and help Aceh develop into one of the leading creative economy centers in Indonesia,” concluded Syaifullah.
