The inauguration of the Aneuk Muda Aceh Excellent and Great (AMANAH) program by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) is an important milestone in efforts to develop the young generation in Aceh. This program, designed to empower youth with various innovative initiatives, shows the government’s commitment to improving Human Resources (HR) competencies in the region. Through this strategic step, Aceh’s young generation is expected to be able to contribute more to economic and social development.
Chairman of the BIN Strategy Analysis Board (DAS), Lt. Gen. TNI (Ret.) Dr. Muhammad Munir, explained that the AMANAH program has seven superior sectors which are the main focus.
One of them is the agricultural sector, which aims to empower young farmers from all over Aceh. This program not only provides training, but also creates an ecosystem that allows Aceh’s young generation to innovate and increase productivity in the agricultural sector. This is a step that is in line with the government’s efforts to strengthen national food security.
Munir emphasized the importance of synergy between the AMANAH program and other similar programs, such as the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH), which has been successfully implemented in Papua. With collaboration, it is hoped that the two programs can strengthen food security and empower youth in both regions.
As an illustration, the Chairman of DAS BIN likened Indonesia to an eagle, where the eastern wing is represented by Papua and the western wing by Aceh. When both wings are healthy and strong, the Indonesian Garuda bird will be able to fly high and freely.
The establishment of the AMANAH Building as a center for innovation and creativity is one of the concrete steps of the government under the leadership of President Joko Widodo. This building was designed to be a gathering and learning place for young Acehnese people. The facilities provided are very modern and support the development of the abilities of the younger generation in the fields of technology, arts, entrepreneurship and the creative economy.
One of the superior facilities in the AMANAH Building is the Packaging House, which functions as a packaging design development center for creative products. With this house, products such as perfume, tumblers and other crafts can have attractive packaging that meets global market standards. This will increase the competitiveness of local products, so that they can compete at the international level.
The AMANAH building is also equipped with an E-Library, a digital library that offers access to thousands of books from various scientific disciplines. Through this access, the younger generation can expand their knowledge in various fields, from exact sciences to history and social culture. In this way, it is hoped that this digital library space will become a gathering place for new ideas and innovative ideas that will encourage the development of the creative economy in Aceh.
The Coffee Processing House is another attraction in the AMANAH Building. Here, coffee produced by Acehnese millennial farmers will be processed using advanced technology, resulting in products that are ready to be marketed both at home and abroad. This facility aims to improve the quality of Aceh coffee and empower the younger generation to understand the value chain of the coffee industry.
Syaifullah Muhammad, Chair of the Business Development Agency of Syiah Kuala University (USK), stated that the existence of the AMANAH Building really supports increasing the abilities of Aceh’s young generation.
The facility will be a platform for the development of innovation, creating a conducive environment for young people to develop. According to Syaifullah, multifunctional buildings such as AMANAH provide encouragement to the younger generation to be braver to innovate and develop capabilities in various fields, which is a great opportunity for Aceh’s future.
The Acting Regent of Nagan Raya, Fitriany Farhas, also expressed his confidence in the positive impact of this program for MSMEs, creative industries and youth. He emphasized that youth are valuable assets for the nation and need to be equipped with knowledge and skills to bring Aceh towards progress.
Fitriany invites all parties, including the government, private sector and society, to work together in supporting AMANAH so that Aceh’s young generation can prepare themselves well to compete at the global level.
In an effort to improve skills and technology in the agricultural and fisheries sectors, AMANAH plays an important role in improving the productivity and quality of agricultural and fisheries products. In the plantation and livestock sectors, this program supports the development of best practices and innovations that can increase the yield and welfare of farmers and livestock breeders.
Furthermore, AMANAH provides a platform for the younger generation to express creativity in art and culture. By providing modern music studio facilities and providing intensive training, this program enhances young people’s skills and creativity in the field of music and audio production. All these initiatives show that AMANAH is not just a program, but also a movement to create a superior and great young generation in Aceh.
With the inauguration of AMANAH, hopes for a brighter and more competitive future for Aceh are increasingly real. This program proves the government’s commitment to developing a young generation that is ready to face global challenges, so that Aceh can become a prominent region on the national and international stage.
