Road To Opening Ceremony by President Jokowi, AMANAH Building Becomes Creative Space for Young People
ACEH – The inauguration of the Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul dan Hebat (AMANAH) Building by President Joko Widodo is getting closer. Ahead of the opening ceremony, the atmosphere around the AMANAH Building located in Ladong, Aceh Besar Regency, is getting more lively with various creative activities.
One of the activities that stole the attention before the inauguration was the mural art that decorated the outdoor area of the AMANAH Building. The young members of AMANAH expressed their creativity by making murals at points around the building.
The theme of this mural reflects the richness of Acehnese culture, featuring icons such as the Baiturrahman Mosque, Acehnese Traditional Houses, and Acehnese flower and leaf motifs. The combination of bright colors such as orange, yellow, light blue, and red gives a festive and energetic impression.
Idrus bin Harun from the Kanot Bu community appreciates AMANAH’s steps in providing space for young people to work.
“AMANAH brings a breath of fresh air to Aceh’s youth. We hope this spirit will continue to the next generation,” he said.
According to him, this mural art not only beautifies the appearance of the building but also creates a space that is able to represent Aceh’s cultural identity in a modern way.
In addition to mural art, the outdoor area of the AMANAH Building is also equipped with various Instagrammable spots that attract the attention of visitors.
AMANAH members introduced several contemporary spots such as gazebos, mural walls, bird cages with unique designs (finger models, hanging cages, and tree cages), as well as rustic-themed areas. These spots are designed as comfortable places to gather and take pictures, especially for young Acehnese who want to enjoy the creative atmosphere around the building.
With a modern atmosphere but still maintaining local elements, this area is expected to become a new destination for Acehnese youth.
Not only focusing on art activities, the AMANAH Building is also equipped with modern agricultural facilities through the Green House area.
Here, the AMANAH team together with four young farmers under their guidance are caring for plants such as chili, hydroponic lettuce, melon, and watermelon. This agricultural program is part of AMANAH’s efforts to empower young people in Aceh in the agricultural sector, so that they can learn about the latest agricultural technology and apply it directly.
President Director of PT. Pupuk Indonesia, Rahmad Pribadi, emphasized the importance of the role of the AMANAH Building as a modern agricultural center that also functions as a creative space.
“To achieve the vision of Golden Indonesia, the quality of young people’s human resources (HR) is very important. Investment in HR development will have a positive long-term impact on the future of the nation. By facilitating young people through innovative programs, the younger generation will be ready to face challenges in the future,” said Rahmad Pribadi.
The AMANAH building is expected to become a new creative space for young people in Aceh to work, innovate, and collaborate in various fields.
