The attitude of the KPK Chairperson for the 2015-2019 period, Agus Rahardjo, who handed the mandate to President Joko Widodo is regrettable. In addition to proving that the relevant mentality is easy to surrender, Agus Rahardjo is considered incompetent to support his position. It would be wise if Agus Rahardjo lifted his suitcase to leave the KPK

This anti-profit agency nicknamed the KPK seems to have a tense and tarnishing prestige. Corruption eradication agency in Indonesia is considered as a body feared by tie rats. Not without reason, considering the function and authority within it only focus on the problem of Corruption. However, another irony is approaching, the article is that this non-profit organization is considered quite crazy in managing its employees and staff. The KPK, which only relies on public scrutiny, is suspected of paying its employees’ wages and salaries according to their own rules. This is like a house that is being missed, public supervision which incidentally is unable to convey its aspirations, what can it be?

In fact, the funds that they named salaries were obtained from the budget in the form of the state budget. Just imagine, with a higher and determined nominal salary, but not accompanied by good performance, who does the KPK official eat? The indication is that the KPK’s less than optimal performance will have the effect of favoritism and unfairness, right?
Speaking of performance, during Agus Rahardjo’s leadership, what results were achieved? The results achieved were even cause for concern. How not, the corruption index only rose by one point. And logically this is not the real performance of the KPK. Given the KPK will be able to provide an increase of five to six points in one period of his tenure. Sadly, Indonesia is only one step ahead of the numbers 90 to 89 on the world index.

This can be concluded, if the performance of the Corruption Eradication Commission is correct, Indonesia will be able to surpass tens of countries in four years. Even more concerned that the results of the BPK Semester or IHPS I, this interfaith institution received a fair rating, with the exception of (WDP). This is because the mechanism of booty management has not yet been officially established.
It is suspected that inventory recording has not been completed by supporting documents which are not yet acceptable. So that the booty that has been decided by the court and has legal force has not yet been recorded. Its value is not yet known with certainty and its inventory is erased. For information, this WDP opinion is the second time, and was obtained in the last 5 years. In fact, the KPK also received a similar opinion.

From this it can be seen how the conditions of Agus Rahardjo’s leadership. Many unusual ways and practices to cover up the various shortcomings of this KPK leadership package. This is reflected in the incident of responsibility throwing from 3 KPK officials. Namely, Agus Rahardjo as the chairman of the KPK, as well as two phenomenal KPK commissioners, Saut Situmorang along with Laode Muhammad Syarif. Strangely, the management responsibility was left to President Jokowi. As well as using the issue if the KPK is on the edge. Another indication is that Agus knows that the steps he took in anticipation of if
KPK will be beaten through the revision of the KPK Law.

This is too ironic, considering that a KPK leader who used to go through due diligence, finally felt unable to overcome the polemic that befell the body that sheltered him. Indications that Agus Rahardjo failed to lead the honor of the institution he led was first read by Lokataru Foundation Director Haris Azhar. He was the first to clearly state the discrepancy.

Another opinion came from former KPK officials, Antasari Azhar, who stressed that the attitude of the KPK chairman was considered immature. He also regretted this, bearing in mind the president’s PR is also very much. Academics also commented, namely Fahri Bachmi as a Constitutional Law Expert. States if the surrender of the KPK’s mandate to the head of state is considered to violate the constitutional legal system as well as the constitution.

Different again with ICW, Indonesia Corruption Watch which seems to support Agus’s policy. ICW considers if the submission of this mandate as an outburst of disappointment about the performance of its leaders. ICW assesses that the state has ignored the KPK through the planned Revision of the Law and the selection of candidates for problematic leaders. The alleged weakening expressed by ICW is not by individuals but the state. Both of the collaborating DPRs want to weaken this anti-trust institution.

Furthermore, whether Agus Rahardjo as the leader of the KPK does not understand the KPK Law relating to the end of his term of office. Referring to article 32 of the KPK Law it is stated that, a KPK leader will terminate his term if there are things that affect. Among other things, due to death, became a defendant due to a crime, unable or unable to carry out their duties for up to 3 months continuously. This includes resigning or being sanctioned based on this Law.

Apart from all the chaos that exists, Agus Rahardjo should be able to be competent in supporting his position. If he has made the decision as described above, it is only natural that the KPK leader will be ready to receive a red card.
