Choirul Fuadi, Central Kalimantan, CIDISS – Transmigration is way to decrease the number of unemployment related much people in one district. Moreover, some months ago, minister of Transmigration and Acceleration Development Backward Regions said that transmigration is concrete solution to decrease the number of poor people.
Transmigration, moving people from one district of full people to other district of less people, it hopes the transmigrant will get occupation and their lives will more good.
Related to the transmigration program, there are some problems faced by transmigrant in transmigration area.
For example, problem about transmigration in Barito Timur regency recently, the transmigration program got complaint from committee of regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Barito Timur. It was because the people who transmigration has been living for 10 years. They have not known yet current location of their right land, even they have land certificate.
This case arose in meeting of heard of public opinion in council room. “The technical official like consider the accord and availability of land as an easy problems. Whereas main point is clear and exact the purpose,” said member of DPRD Fristio, like quote in Borneo News, Friday (12/6/2015)
According to ex chief of regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Barito Timur, government of Barito Timur through of social board, work and transmigration board (DINSOSNAKERTRANS) must be serious. They also must coordinate to National Land Agency (BPN), then they make meeting with transmigrant to know the source of problem about land or area of transmigration.
“If there are several processes to go through by transmigrant to get land, it must be communicable to all side who having interest and business, then they have unity agreement,” said Fristio.
In fact, beside land right case, transmigrant also faced to the land potency. Then there are lands out keeping with the background to transmigrant of their coming that they are planting (farmer).
Fristion also stated about this transmigration program has swerve from beginning concept. “Such as availability land potency about agriculture to transmigrant that live of farming, or other potency area appropriate to background,”
