In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, a handful of people who have joined have always rejected the government’s policy of declaring the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (US). The public was also asked to be aware of the group’s maneuvers, which are feared to interfere with the government’s hard work in dealing with Covid-19.
The Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (US) is considered to be disturbing the concentration of the government. Of course it is easy to guess who is in this group, it is certain that this group contains people who were thrown out of government power.
They maneuver as if to give a signal if what they are thinking will solve all problems. Hopefully they will have moved on with the 2019 election results.
Apart from the various problems that existed during the pandemic, we certainly cannot deny that the government is still trying to save the nation. Of course the coalition for action to save Indonesia (US) must be questioned, in what ways are they saving the nation? Is it just by increasing the noise?
This group is indeed carried by very influential people, some of them even come from academia and high-ranking mass organizations. However, it is very unethical if they try to provoke the public in bad faith. Even though during this epidemic, we must continue to join hands to get out of the nation’s problems.
Of course there is nothing wrong with raising moral strength, but to gain political legitimacy this group should realize that they cannot take instant means.
The Chief Expert of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) Donny Gahral Adian said it was fine that the coalition was formed. He considers that the coalition is a private opposition, which means that it is outside the parliament.
Donny also added that what is most important now and what Indonesia needs is a solution, not a declaration. The solution referred to by President Jokowi is to jointly assist the government in solving the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
When the government is working on the omnibus law as an effort to overcome the economic crisis due to the pandemic. OUR group just boasted without presenting a concrete solution.
Even though the omnibus law has offered breakthroughs such as convenience in business licenses, this is certainly very helpful for MSME players to get up and re-recruit the workforce.
Public Policy Observer from Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Leo Agustino assessed that the Omnibus Law on Job Creation will have positive impacts and implications for the Indonesian economy.
Moreover, with the existence of the Omnibus Law for work creation, there will be no more overlapping regulations so that all licensing processes can be streamlined, thus enabling accelerated absorption of labor in various companies and industries.
According to him, this regulation can provide facilities for investing and opening a business which has implications for employment.
He also said that people must be patient because in a policy there are certainly several stages that must go through various processes.
Even though the benefits of this omnibus law have been voiced, the US group still considers that this is not the government’s effort to save the nation.
If WE are a moral movement, then why was this movement initiated by opponents who did not accept the election results? Moreover, some were dismissed from BUMN, there were DPR members who were not re-elected and there were also former officials who were not used again.
Of course this can lead to public assumptions, is it true that this movement contains non-party groups who feel annoyed with government policies? So why don’t they convey their unrest in a constitutional way, why do they have to declare?
If anyone says the big Indonesian ship has rocked and is almost wrecked. Of course, the validity of this sentence is still questionable. Even though the economic shocks were quite severe, Indonesia had not yet reached the point of near collapse. Even the economy in Indonesia is still safer when compared to other countries.
Although it is safer, of course the government will not remain silent. Assistance has also been launched. Regulations related to saving the nation’s economy are also being discussed.
If WE are still raving about without providing a solution, then it is not surprising that the hypothesis arises that they need a stage to get public attention.
During this outbreak, of course we must join hands to rise from various problems. In fact, even superpower countries are affected by an invisible virus. Even though we are on different ships we are in the same storm.
