The Covid-19 Vaccination Center was held by the government at Istora Senayan. The event was held by State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) through the Indonesia Healthcare Corporation (IHC). It is hoped that the existence of a Covid-19 vaccination center can be used as a model for other regions, so that it can accelerate the achievement of the herd immunity target .
The government continues to innovate in accelerating the national vaccination program, one of which is through vaccination centers. Erick Thohir as Minister of BUMN said, the acceleration of national vaccination must be done in order to create a healthy Indonesia as soon as possible.
Currently, the vaccine center will be focused on targeting the elderly (elderly). Apart from the elderly, the vaccination target in the second phase is also carried out for workers in the public sector.
It is targeted that from these vaccination centers, 5,000 vaccinations will be carried out per day. Vaccinations will be carried out every day for the next 4 months.
Currently, the vaccination center is still being carried out in DKI Jakarta. Erick did not rule out that in the future vaccination centers will also be built in a number of areas.
Erick said that this was the same as what was done in DKI Jakarta, his party was also working with local governments that needed acceleration.
Data collection on the people who will be vaccinated is carried out through registration and data collection by the Ministry of BUMN and the Ministry of Health. In addition, there is also data collection through the community.
