PBESI Under the Leadership of Budi Gunawan Succeeds in Fostering Indonesian Esport Athletes Win Gold Medals SEA GAMES

Banten – Deputy Secretary General of PBESI I Gede Made Kartikajaya said that his party is extremely proud of the achievements of Indonesian Esport athletes, both male and female.

This was conveyed by Deputy Secretary General of PBESI I Gede Made Kartikajaya when welcoming the Indonesian Esport National Team at Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Friday 12/5/2023.

The Deputy Secretary General of PBESI said that the gold medals won by the Esport Women’s National Team in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and the Esport Men’s National Team in Valorant were a hard struggle for athletes who had been prepared since last year and will be intensified in early 2023.

PBESI under the Ketum General Pol (Purn) Budi Gunawan provides special coaching for athletes so that they can achieve maximum performance by being proven in winning SEA GAMES Cambodia Gold medals, concluded the Deputy Secretary General of PBESI.

Furthermore, his party is also proud of the officials and coaches who have fought with the athletes to get gold medals.

“I am proud and my highest gratitude also goes to the officials and coaches who have not been in vain that you have brought something very valuable to this nation, namely gold for Indonesia’s victory,” said I Gede Made Kartikajaya.

“You have raised the red and white in other countries in Cambodia and today you are our heroes,” he said

“Congratulations to you, in the future it must be greater and greater. I’m sure we can all show Indonesia’s fangs in the international community, he said.

Meanwhile, Assistant Deputy for Sports Organization and Energy (Asdep Tenor) Kemenpora M Azis Ariyanto said that his party represents the government congratulating and always supporting Indonesian Esport Athletes.

“On behalf of the government, we thank you profusely. We, as the government, always support the implementation and sending of athletes abroad.”

He further said, the message from the Menpora, for those who have succeeded in getting gold, silver or bronze, always be enthusiastic. For those who haven’t, there’s still time. What is clear is not the last. In the future there will be many other international events such as the Asian Games and the Olympic Games waiting for all of you. I’m sure you guys can do it.
