Rocky Gerung’s “Bastard-Stupid” diction is an example of a very uncivilized communication message

The Bastard-Stupid diction conveyed by someone addressed to another person regardless of their social status, shows that the person conveying the diction completely ignores the axiology of communication.
Therefore, it is no exaggeration that this diction is more interpreted as a communication message that is very far from civilized communication and common sense.
For this reason, in my opinion as an Indonesian communicaologist, all communication messages put out in the public sphere must be rational, beneficial to humanity and no less important to maintain the civilization of communication.
Launch Suara.com, some time ago, political observer and academic Rocky Gerung often criticized President Joko Widodo or Jokowi. Most recently, his criticism of Jokowi has even invited public scrutiny.
In the video uploaded by the account of the Chairman of Cyber Indonesia Muannas Alaidid, Rocky Gerung can be seen attending an event.
In the video, Rocky passionately criticizes Jokowi.
“Once Jokowi loses his power he becomes an ordinary person, no one cares later. But Jokowi Jokowi’s ambition is to maintain his legacy,” said Rocky Gerung as quoted from the uploaded video.
“He offered IKN, back and forth to the coalition, to seek clarification on his fate, he thought his fate was not ours, that’s a stupid scoundrel, as well as a cowardly scoundrel,” he added.
Muannas Alaidid immediately highlighted Rocky’s statement, who immediately headed the Polri Public Relations account.
“Can I say our president; stupid bastard @DivHumas_Polri,” wrote Muannas Alaidid.
The video immediately invited various responses from netizens.
“Insulting the president is the same as insulting the people who voted for him,” added another netizen.
“What he calls stupid bastards keep working for the good of the country, while people who call them stupid bastards are again losers for the country,” added another.
