Realizing a Conducive Democratic Party, Security Preparedness for the 2024 Election Continues to be Improved
All training from security forces continues to be held, this aims to further improve the capabilities of all personnel in an effort to provide security for democratic parties and political contestation in the General Election (Pemilu) in 2024.
This training is a very important step to ensure that the entire election process and series can run safely, conducively and smoothly, being able to avoid various kinds of undesirable things. With very high enthusiasm, all security personnel joined the training.
They then carried out a training demonstration of the 2024 Election security system with the aim of being able to test the readiness and expertise of each Indonesian National Police (Polri) personnel in dealing with situations that might arise during the election process.
By holding this training, it will ensure that all personnel are very ready to face a real situation, if for example real action is required, then everyone is very ready. Even though we continue to promote training for readiness, there is great hope that the upcoming elections will be able to run much more safely and conducively without even the slightest incident that will harm anyone.
By holding this training, it is also a very important preparatory step ahead of the big event agenda that will be held by this nation. Therefore, in order to ensure the smooth running of all the 2024 election series processes, police personnel from the Palembang Police and also all Polses ranks continue to improve their abilities in maintaining security and order during the election process.
With this training, it is hoped that efforts to handle all situations that may arise during the 2024 General Election will run much more efficiently and effectively, so that people can use their voting rights much more safely and comfortably.
The security forces also have a very strong commitment to being able to provide their best protection to all people in the country during the election process. Not only in Palembang, but the Penajam Paser Utara Police (Polres), East Kalimantan Province (Kaltim) also held a city security simulation as a form of security strategy in the 2024 Election.
Head of the Operations Section (Kabag Ops) of North Penajam Paser Police, Adjunct Police Commissioner (AKP) Jajat Sudrajat said that the simulation they carried out was useful to show how prepared they were for securing the General Election as a whole, including the peace declaration activities of the police.
It is known that the peace declaration activity is an effort they are making to continue to create a conducive atmosphere for the 2024 elections. Several steps to secure the General Election as a whole include the stages of creating conditions, campaigning, a quiet period and also carrying out voting and counting of votes.
In fact, there are still a number of potential security and public order (Kamtibmas) problems that must continue to be anticipated, such as the possibility of mass riots. Then, for example, to deal with uncontrolled mass action, it is clear that additional personnel will immediately be deployed as assistance.
A number of personnel and hundreds of people have also been prepared for their duties to secure the implementation of the 2024 elections, including the complete equipment needed. With the simulation activities being held to be able to predict what might happen, everything has been prepared starting from equipment and training for personnel so they are ready for duty.
The efforts that continue to be carried out by the National Police also continue to receive full support from many other parties, such as the Indonesian National Army (TNI), then from the Transportation Service (Dishub), Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Satpol PP and other parties. Such as elements from the government, Forkopimda, political party administrators, election organizers and community leaders.
Many parties have very high hopes and have also expressed their prayers so that in the initial stages until the mass campaign until the voting on February 14 2024 and even after the election, conditions in society will always remain conducive. So that the security forces, who have been given responsibility and trust by the state and all society in Indonesia, can guarantee security, order and smooth running.
