Kalimantan Tengah, PALANGKA RAYA, CIDISS. – Officer of fish quarantine office palangka raya aborted sending of 59 lying crabs. The lying crabs will deliver from Tjilik riwut airport Palangka Raya to Surabaya.
The head of fish quarantine office Palangka Raya, Leonard Tambunan said that they save it in the box with height 30 kg. Based on the rule of marine minister no 1 year 2005, also letter of marine minister no 18 year 2015, it forbid to catch and purchase and sell Lobster, Crab or Ranjungan (small crab)when they are lying.

Now, the officer is hunting the owner of it box, whose deliver the lying crabs. They suspect, the owner run away to Kapuas district.
Leonard said that when the owner of the box has arrested, they will get punishment from law of quarantine no.16 year 1992. They will get prison about 1,5 years also fine about 500 millions.
“About the crabs which we brought, we will return to the habitat in Kapuas district. They are live, so it can be returning,” said him.
Leonard also said that price of crab in Indonesia about 470 thousands rupiah per kilogram. But, in abroad, it will increase more highly, because it is difficult to get it.
He assumes, 59 crabs will deliver to abroad, especially Singapore and Malaysia. It was because, both country want lying crabs from Indonesia for propagation.
“I will send announcement to citizen of Kalteng, crabs, lobster or small crabs when they are lying, it forbid for purchase and sale. If, they do it, they will get sanction,” said leonard.
