Full support from all elements and cross-sectors of society is very important for the success of the development of the Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN), which is a strategic government program to improve the quality of young human resources (HR) in the country. With this support, it is hoped that AMN will be able to produce a cadre of future leaders for the nation.
The existence of the Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN) is important to help encourage the importance of the quality of Indonesia’s young human resources, so of course if this strategic program is successful and successful, it is not impossible that the nation’s future young generation will be much more highly competitive.
Therefore, full support from all elements of society is very important to make the development of this strategic program a success because it is for the progress of the nation and state.
Acting Deputy for Macroeconomic and Financial Coordination at the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Ferry Irawan, explained that support from the community in creating superior human resources (HR) to realize the vision of a Golden Indonesia in 2045 has truly been achieved.
Currently, the government has launched a Road Map towards a Golden Indonesia 2045 which is an optimistic motor for achieving this vision amidst the economic conditions in Indonesia which continue to grow stronger with a controlled inflation rate.
In these optimistic economic conditions, the government really needs support for involvement from all levels of society. Indeed, to successfully achieve the vision of a Golden Indonesia 2045 there are many challenges that surround it. However, optimism must continue to be high.
Indonesia is now at the upper-middle income country level and must be able to take a new growth path in order to achieve the target of becoming a high income country in 2038 to 2041.
In efforts to reach that point, the government has also prepared various economic transformation policies, including increasing the productivity of Human Resources (HR) and industrial competitiveness, one of which is the construction of the Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN).
In fact, Indonesia has a lot of basic capital for development which will be able to become a source of strength and an important foundation for building the nation, namely in the form of a demographic bonus, then high natural resource wealth (SDA), the existence of socio-cultural capital and maritime wealth.
So that increasing productivity skills for young people as new workers must continue to increase optimally to be able to balance the basic capital for development.
Because Indonesia will experience its golden age in 2045, at that time this nation will be 100 years old, aka a century. At that time, the government’s main target or vision was to make Indonesia a developed country and on par with other superpowers in the world.
To be able to make this happen requires a lot of careful preparation, even from a long time ago. Therefore, the existence of young Indonesian human resources (HR) must be superior, high quality and have character.
According to the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK), Muhadjir Effendy, the generation that will realize the vision of a Golden Indonesia in 2045 is the young generation, especially those who are currently studying at university.
Current undergraduate students and university graduates are probably around 20 years old, so that when Indonesia turns 100 years old, namely 2045, the age of the younger generation will be around 40 years, which is the peak career age for professionals.
The importance of the role of the younger generation, who currently have the status of students, has made the government really serious about carrying out the construction of the Archipelago Student Dormitory (AMN).
Currently, progress on the construction of AMN in Manado, North Sulawesi Province (Sulut) is still ongoing, where this magnificent building is intended for students from various regions and universities from various backgrounds.
The government, through the initiation of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), continues to intensify the construction of Nusantara Student Dormitory in various cities in Indonesia, such as, and which has already been implemented, such as in Surabaya and Manado, then the process will continue in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Malang and Makassar.
Head of the North Sulawesi Regional Settlement Infrastructure Center (BPPW Sulut), Nurdiana Habibie explained that AMN in Manado will stand majestically, its land area will reach 20 thousand square meters with a building area of 1,595 square meters.
The scope of development includes a tower for men’s and women’s dormitories, as well as a meeting hall, multipurpose room, sports field, garden, road access and parking area.
The development of AMN in six regions in Indonesia is a collaborative effort under the responsibility of ministries and institutions, from the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), Ministry of Defense, Ministry of PUPR, Ministry of Education and Research and Technology.
Having full support from various parties will clearly encourage the success of the construction of the Nusantara Student Dormitory. Because with the involvement of all parties, the construction of the building can run well.
