The BIN Jakarta women’s volleyball team managed to achieve a brilliant victory by winning the 2024 Proliga. In the grand final match which took place at the Indonesia Arena, Senayan, Jakarta, BIN Jakarta managed to beat Jakarta Electrik PLN with a spectacular game. This victory not only shows the team’s superiority, but also confirms the success of athlete development carried out by BIN and Rajawali.
The 2024 Proliga grand final brought together two Indonesian women’s volleyball stars, Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi from BIN Jakarta and Yolla Yuliana from Jakarta Electrik PLN. This match was very fierce, featuring stunning actions from both players.Even though Yolla was doubted because of his fitness, his presence still provided tough resistance. However, Megawati and her team managed to show their dominance, proving BIN Jakarta’s strength in the field.
In the first set, BIN Jakarta managed to win the set with a score of 25-21. The second set also belonged to BIN with a score of 25-20. However, Jakarta Electric PLN didn’t just give up and managed to take the third and fourth sets with a score of 22-25 and 21-25, forcing the match to continue into a deciding set.
In the deciding set, the two teams were chasing each other very closely for points. BIN Jakarta had taken the lead 5-3, but Jakarta Electrik PLN managed to equalize the score to 5-5. The match became even more tense when the score was tied at 14-14, before finally BIN Jakarta managed to seal the win with a score of 17-15, ensuring the title for them.
“This is BIN’s victory in developing female volleyball athletes, and the spirit is extraordinary. It really can’t be expressed in words. “This is BIN’s victory through women’s volleyball,” said the Manager of the BIN Jakarta women’s volleyball team, Mr. Supandi.
