Indonesia is heading towards a major change that will bring the country into a new era of progress and prosperity. Under the leadership of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, the new government has formulated a series of strategic programs designed to increase the nation’s competitiveness in various sectors. The Chairman of the Expert Council of the National Campaign Team (TKN), Burhanuddin Abdullah, stated that the new Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government will immediately focus on developing strategic sectors with the aim of spurring economic growth and improving people’s welfare.

Strategic sector development is a top priority for the Prabowo-Gibran government. This main focus aims not only to spur economic growth, but also to create jobs and improve people’s welfare. By targeting key sectors such as manufacturing, infrastructure, and technology, the government hopes to push Indonesia to become one of the leading economies in the Southeast Asian region.

One of the flagship programs is Free Nutritious Meals (MBG), which is designed to ensure nutritional fulfillment for pregnant women, toddlers, and school children. This program not only focuses on health aspects, but also involves empowering MSMEs and cooperatives in providing local food ingredients. Thus, the MBG program not only improves public health but also supports the local economy through empowering small and medium business actors.

To achieve the target of the manufacturing sector’s contribution to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of 28% by 2045, the government will implement a series of strategic policies. This policy will be supported by regulatory improvements, investment incentives in the industrial sector, and relevant human resource development through collaboration between the government, universities, and industry. With this step, it is hoped that the Indonesian manufacturing sector can compete globally and become the backbone of the national economy.

Education is the main foundation in building a developed nation. The Prabowo-Gibran government is committed to building superior schools in every district, repairing schools that need renovation, and expanding access to digital education. Quality education and equal access, the young generation of Indonesia will have better abilities to compete at the global level. Investment in education is expected to produce a skilled and innovative workforce, ready to face future challenges.

Public health is also a major focus of the new government. Prabowo will launch a free health check-up program for 55 million citizens, with a focus on eradicating infectious diseases such as tuberculosis. In addition, the government will improve the welfare of medical personnel and accelerate medical education to address the shortage of health workers throughout Indonesia. With this program, it is hoped that it can create a healthier society and better medical personnel in providing services. This step is expected to improve the quality of life of the community and ensure more equitable access to health throughout the country.

In this digital era, digital transformation is the main key in developing the economic sector. The Prabowo-Gibran government is committed to encouraging digital transformation in various economic sectors, with the target of making Indonesia the largest digital economic power in ASEAN by 2025. Digital transformation is not only about technology, but also about creating an ecosystem that supports innovation and creativity. Thus, Indonesia will be able to compete globally, attract foreign investment, and create new jobs in the technology sector.

Strong and sustainable infrastructure is the foundation for stable economic growth. The new government will focus on building physical infrastructure such as roads, bridges, ports, and airports, as well as digital infrastructure such as high-speed internet networks throughout Indonesia. Adequate infrastructure will increase the mobility of goods and people, thereby accelerating economic growth and expanding access to public services. This infrastructure development is also expected to reduce the gap between urban and rural areas, encouraging equitable development throughout Indonesia.

With a series of comprehensive strategic programs, the Prabowo-Gibran government has shown a real commitment to improving the nation’s competitiveness. Focusing on the development of strategic sectors, health, education, manufacturing, and digital transformation are important steps that will lead Indonesia towards greater progress and prosperity. As stated by the Chairman of the National Campaign Team (TKN) Expert Council, Burhanuddin Abdullah, the new government has a clear vision and measurable programs to make Indonesia a more advanced, prosperous, and competitive country at the global level.

With dedication and hard work from all components of the nation, Indonesia is ready to face the challenges of the future and realize the dream of becoming a strong, advanced, and prosperous country. The Prabowo-Gibran government is the driving force of change that will ensure that every citizen feels the benefits of this progress, leading Indonesia to a new era of prosperity and glory.
