Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul Hebat (AMANAH), a youth human resource development program initiated by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), has proven its ability to transform Aceh into a center of excellence for the nation’s human resources (HR).
With various training and education offered, the program not only facilitates skill improvement, but also encourages the young generation of Aceh to contribute significantly to the economic and social development of the region. The existence of this program brings new hope for young people in Aceh to become agents of change who are ready to face the challenges of the future.
Rahmad Pribadi, President Director of PT. Pupuk Indonesia, expressed his belief that the program is a very important strategic step for the advancement of youth in Aceh.
He emphasized that developing quality human resources among the younger generation is a long-term investment that will have a positive impact on the future of the nation. PT. Pupuk Indonesia is ready to collaborate in building superior young people, especially in the field of agriculture.
The program offers training and education that opens access to develop skills relevant to industry needs. With the expertise possessed by PT. Pupuk Indonesia, there is great hope to make a significant contribution to the development of Acehnese youth.
In the context of economic empowerment, a young entrepreneur from Aceh, Almer Hafis, explained that AMANAH plays an important role in driving Aceh’s economy through entrepreneurship training.
According to him, the presence of resource persons who are experts in their fields greatly contributes to improving the regional economy. He highlighted that Aceh’s economy can develop faster than urban areas if supported in the right way.
Intervention from the central government in terms of human resources is considered necessary to form an entrepreneurial spirit and independence among young people in Aceh. With this support, the young generation of Aceh is expected to be able to explore creativity and realize business at the national level.
The enthusiasm of Acehnese youth towards the program is very high. The large number of participants involved in the training shows that they have a great interest in developing themselves.
The AMANAH program not only provides training, but also a place for them to collaborate, exchange ideas, and build networks that are beneficial for the future. Hafis added that this program provides many benefits, including providing skills in the fields of entrepreneurship industry, business management, and digital marketing. The opportunity for participants to practice skills through business simulations is also very helpful.
Syaifullah Muhammad, Chairman of the Syiah Kuala University Business Development Agency, expressed his appreciation for AMANAH, which was initiated by President Joko Widodo. This program is a real proof of the government’s commitment to improving the quality of human resources for the younger generation in Aceh.
With various trainings that have been implemented, AMANAH plays an important role as a platform to improve the capacity of human resources in the region. The existence of this program opens up opportunities for young people in Aceh to get character development from national mentors. In addition to knowledge, they also gain access to a wide network and adequate facilities.
The program has had a significant impact on the creative economy sector in Aceh. Improving the quality of products produced by young people, both in the culinary and fashion sectors, is a major highlight.
Participants gain supplies and experience that enrich the quality of their products, which in turn contributes to the economy of the Acehnese people. AMANAH also touches on various aspects, from skills development to providing market access. With the participation of more than 20,100 young people throughout Aceh, the response from the community and participants has been very positive.
The training held also prioritizes the historical and cultural values of Aceh. Events such as the Muslim Fashion Fest and Aceh Barista Champ showcase the richness of Acehnese culture to the wider community, so that it is known nationally and globally.
The AMANAH building, which is planned to be inaugurated by President Jokowi in October 2024, has functioned as a creative place for young people to develop products that can be marketed nationally and globally. The large investment from the central and regional governments shows their seriousness in supporting human resource development in Aceh.
Furthermore, AMANAH emphasizes the importance of collaboration between various elements, both from the private sector, government, and academia. By involving various parties, this program creates an ecosystem that supports innovation and sustainable human resource development.
Support from various sectors is expected to strengthen the network and market access for participants. This is an important step to encourage local products to be more competitive at the national and international levels.
