Kalimantan Tengah – Coffee is one of commodity in Indonesia. Many provinces develop coffee as commodity. It can be one of region own source.
The government of Seruyan begins to develop coffee plantation kind of Arabica on the district of seruyan hulu. In the first stage, in the 2015, government will develop coffee on field 500 ha. It will cooperate with people in seruyan hulu.
The head of Region Development Planning Agency (Badan Perencanaan dan Pembangunan Daerah/Bappeda) Seruyan Haryono, quote CIDISS on Borneo News, Saturday (7/2), he said that his side will make farmer group, then they give training to them.
“So, we will make farmer group, next we will be training to the farmer till providing the seed,” said him
He explained, area and topography in Seruyan district is hilly. “This is main point for developing this commodity,” said him.
