Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia gives tremendous pride when the Christmas celebration takes place peacefully. This is the friendliness and brotherhood of the Indonesian people who are awakened without the barriers of religious differences. The activities of all followers of religion are almost entirely peaceful.
In the past year, Christmas celebrations went smoothly, Christians in various regions quietly celebrated Christmas wisely. In some areas of Muslim participation, such as securing, it is evident that it reinforces the spirit of brotherhood as an extraordinary nation. Just as during Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, Christians and other religious followers helped prepare Muslims to celebrate their feast days.
As a large nation of around 250 million people, peaceful religious warnings for all different religious people are a real picture of the maturity of the Indonesian people. Almost all residents of this country from the experience of conducting religious activities demonstrate the ability to understand the meaning of the relationship between religious communities.
All religions through their scriptures teach about human values so that humans are able to establish social relations in a peaceful, loving manner. Therefore, Christmas celebrations throughout Indonesia can take place peacefully in the midst of the majority of Indonesian Muslims.
The majority of Indonesian Muslims in real terms have delivered the message of the Qur’an’s peace through respecting other religious beliefs, especially among Christians, so that the Christmas celebration can be peaceful.
The Koran’s humanitarian message is expected to be the spirit and inspiration of adherents of any religion in the world to create peace, beautiful relations between religious believers.
That the difference in religious beliefs is not an obstacle to developing togetherness, brotherhood, living in peace with fellow countrymen and even among religious leaders in various parts of the world. That is the real substance of all religions: to foster and refresh affection, human concern for peace.
