Rumors about the withdrawal of Australian Ambassador Gary Quinlan AO associated with the poor handling of Covid-19 are unreasonable reasons. Because the handling of Covid-19 has met international standards and received appreciation from the world health agency, WHO.

It is no longer a secret, the worries caused by the Covid-19 pandemic are spreading everywhere. The latest rumors say that the Australian Ambassador to Indonesia, Gary Quinland returned home because there are WFH rules from the Kangaroo state authorities. So, even though he returns to Australia he will continue to monitor his work in Indonesia.

However, along with the news of the Australian Ambassador’s return, another rumor developed, which was mentioned if Australia considered co-19 handling in Indonesia to be very bad. They assess if the number of victims died and the low number of patients positive due to lack of examination or rapid test. They also mentioned that the Minister of Health was impressed with “awkwardness” in dealing with Covid-19.

In this case, there might be a misinformation that makes things look complicated. As we know, since the spread of Covid-19, the Indonesian government has not been half-hearted in its efforts. Both in terms of moral as well as material. Socialization related to the anticipation of Covid-19 continues. Even the most recent is large-scale social restrictions.

Previously, the Presidential Palace had also denied the Australian authorities who asked if Indonesia’s ability to control the corona virus (Covid-19) was far from standard. The Palace explained that currently the government had installed a number of detection devices for the corona virus. Detailed if detection devices are at least at 145 entrances to Indonesia, namely access to land, sea and air. This is in accordance with the statement of the Expert Staff of the Presidential Staff Office of Donny Gahral Adiansyah.

It was also mentioned if Australia was highlighting the availability of limited isolation space. In this regard, Donny emphasized that the government had prepared a lot of special isolation rooms for Corona Virus patients.

He stated if the isolation room was available in almost 137 referral hospitals and certainly spread across a number of provinces. In fact, Donny said if the government would build a special hospital for Corona Virus. precisely on Galang Island, Riau Islands and will be completed in one month. He added, everything was under control and the government was very serious in applying high standards in handling this case.

Meanwhile, President Jokowi also responded to the allegations by the Australian authorities. He stated that the standard handling of the Corona virus in Indonesia was in accordance with international standards that have also been set by the WHO. The link is in the context of protecting the people of Indonesia from the contagion of the Corona outbreak. He also said, if the other party does not believe, go ahead. But the most important thing is that the Government of Indonesia and all its staff have made serious efforts.

Opinion If Indonesia complies with WHO procedures, Dr. Vinod Kumar Bura as WHO Indonesia Medical Officer. He also claimed that the laboratories owned by Indonesia were highly qualified. Namely, equipped with all the necessary requirements including the need for reagents (chemical reagents).

Although there are many rumors that WHO doubts Indonesia’s ability, but for sure they have reviewed the Litbangkes laboratory which has a license from the Indonesian Ministry of Health. And the result is, Indonesia has been able to detect the Corona Wuhan virus very well.

Dr. Vinod also mentioned if his party had obtained clarity regarding the procedure of the process to the entire facility. He considered, Indonesia already has a kit or special equipment for researching or detecting Corona viruses. In fact, the laboratory also has the competence in terms of this detection. Thus, public doubts should be broken. negative rumors or accusations should also be eliminated. The reason is WHO alone has stated this.

The maze of news, often happens today. Especially if the condition is aggravated by various hoaxes or the news is not true. Confusion – news confusion should be minimized if the parties concerned are able to display positive content. So don’t just write negative ones. Moreover, to the point of cornering the government, including the promotion of public opinion, causing chaos. In fact, the government’s efforts have been maximized in handling COVID-19. Didn’t WHO just officially claim this?
