Trafficking of drugs, cosmetics, up to the more traditional medicine illegally circulating in the community. In February-March 2016 BPOM discovered 4,441 items of illegal pharmaceutical products ranging from medicines, cosmetics and traditional medicines that do not have a marketing authorization, fake, they contain harmful chemicals. The economic value referred to Rp 49 billion. In fact, lately the Directorate Crime Narcotics Criminal Investigation Police have raided two illegal drug factories in Tangerang with a value of Rp 30 billion.

Acts of counterfeiting are increasingly rampant due to drug counterfeiting prevention has not been systematically coordinated, so it is not a real impact on fraud and trafficking counterfeit drugs. Penalties and fines imposed on suspected counterfeiters still relatively mild, sometimes just a trial period, so this does not act as a deterrent because of the benefits of falsified medication is so tempting. In fact, the rampant circulation of fake drugs can be a threat to public health can even lead to the risk of death. The actions of a person who is not in charge here that must be addressed.

The drugs are derived from the pharmaceutical industry, distributors, sub-distributors, and PBF (Pharmaceutical Wholesalers), should not be directly into the hands of clinics, doctors, paramedics, drug stores and private. Bleaching here means, the drugs do not have a marketing authorization granted to the pharmaceutical industry, distributors, sub-distributors, and PBF, which by the pharmaceutical industry, distributors, sub-distributors, and PBF these drugs created for a marketing authorization that it seems since the beginning have a marketing authorization, then these drugs distributed to pharmacies and hospitals, the drug is called fake drugs.

This shows how serious the issue of the circulation of counterfeit drugs in Indonesia and how important the role of pharmacists and should be more proactive in addressing the issue and educate patients not to buy drugs other than pharmacies. Pharmacists have a duty to protect patients because pharmacists who interact directly with patients so they can carry out the campaign against anti-counterfeit. Pharmacist profession is not only limited to the distribution or selling the drug, but must maintain the authenticity of the drugs they jual.Melihat importance of the role of the pharmacist in this case it is necessary for their certification in order to provide good information about the original drug.

In addition to pharmacists, the public should also be smart in taking the medication. In other countries is very difficult to get drugs without a prescription, while in Indonesia we can easily get the drug without a prescription. Habits of people who assess their own illness and the drug should be consumed also be one of the triggers widespread trafficking of illegal drugs. Appropriate economic law, there would be no goods without the high demand for drugs. Therefore, people should be more intelligent in purchasing and consuming drugs.

The fight against the circulation of counterfeit drugs certainly can not be done alone, government efforts should be followed with the support and help of the community so as to jointly to ensure the fight against counterfeit drugs is going well.
