The Aceh Young Generation Superior Great (AMANAH) is one of President Joko Widodo’s important initiatives to empower the youth in Aceh. Under Jokowi’s leadership, this program is designed as a manifestation of the government’s commitment to strengthening the capacity and competence of youth in the Aceh region, while also promoting economic independence and social welfare.
Through AMANAH, the government strives to provide broader access for the youth of Aceh to obtain quality education, skills training, and better job opportunities. This aligns with President Jokowi’s vision of achieving comprehensive and equitable development in Indonesia, where every region, including Aceh, has equal opportunities for national progress.
Not only limited to education, the AMANAH program also emphasizes the importance of innovation and creativity among the younger generation. Jokowi believes that the youth of Aceh have great potential to develop in various fields, ranging from creative economy, technology, to entrepreneurship. Therefore, through AMANAH, the youth of Aceh are encouraged to actively participate in regional economic development, whether through startup programs, micro-enterprises, or other innovative activities.
The Nagan Raya District Government in Aceh Province fully supports AMANAH. This program aims to empower the youth of Aceh. The Acting Regent of Nagan Raya, Fitriany Farhas, expressed her confidence that this program will provide tangible facilities for MSMEs, the creative industry, and youth in an effort to boost the economy in Aceh and channel their ideas and creativity.
Fitriany stated that the youth are a valuable asset for the nation, and they need to be equipped with adequate knowledge and skills to lead Aceh towards progress. He invites all parties, including the government, the private sector, and the community, to synergize in supporting AMANAH so that the youth of Aceh can prepare themselves well to compete on a global level.
In the fields of agriculture and fisheries, AMANAH strives to enhance the skills and technologies used by young people to improve the productivity and quality of agricultural and fishery outputs. In the plantation and livestock sector, this program supports the development of best practices and innovations that can enhance the yields and well-being of farmers and livestock breeders.
On the other hand, in the arts and culture, AMANAH provides a platform for the younger generation to express their creativity and preserve local cultural heritage. This program also focuses on technology and entrepreneurship, providing the necessary training and support to encourage innovation and facilitate the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
AMANAH also enhances the skills and creativity of young people in the field of music and audio production by providing modern music studio facilities equipped with advanced equipment, as well as organizing intensive training focused on developing technical and creative abilities.
The implementation of training at the AMANAH music studio, located in the Aceh Industrial Area (KIA), Ladong Village, Mesjid Raya District, Aceh Besar Regency, has had a significant positive impact on the participants. A training participant, Ridho Brilian, expressed high satisfaction and enthusiasm for the facilities and quality of the training provided. According to Ridho, in addition to the very adequate infrastructure, the presence of competent instructors is also one of the main factors that makes this training very beneficial.
The training titled “Soundcraft with AMANAH: Mastering Sound Engineering Techniques and Music Production” was attended by participants from various backgrounds, including students and youth from different regions in Aceh. In this training, participants not only learn the basics of audio production but also how to operate a digital mixer and use a Digital Audio Workstation. (DAW). The instructor brought in from Jakarta introduced various spaces in the studio, such as the rehearsal room, vocal room, and monitoring room, each designed to meet professional standards.
The AMANAH program, as one of President Jokowi’s flagship initiatives, aims not only to enhance technical skills but also to make a positive contribution to the economy and social welfare of the Aceh community. The presence of modern facilities and quality training is part of Jokowi’s efforts to empower the younger generation in areas that have previously received less attention. This program aims to advance the local economy by opening new opportunities for the youth of Aceh to grow and contribute more significantly to the music and audio production industry.
President Jokowi, through the AMANAH program, is committed to ensuring that young people in Aceh not only have access to adequate facilities but also to quality training. Thus, AMANAH not only provides opportunities for learning and creativity but also helps in creating a brighter future for the youth of Aceh. This program is expected to inspire more similar initiatives in other regions and help build a more productive and innovative society throughout Indonesia.
