The police have succeeded in securing a resident of Cirebon Regency with the initials IAS, who had made a video that led to provocations and fighting against TNI and Polri.
On May 12, 2019, he uploaded the video on Facebook’s social network, then on May 13, 2019, the police managed to secure it.
Allegedly, IAS is not an ordinary person, the perpetrator is the leader of an Islamic boarding school in Cirebon. In fact, he also manages a majelis ta’lim.
Not only that, IAS is also known as a teacher in a number of universities in Cirebon. IAS attorney Ibrahim Kadir Tuasamu also said that Actors were volunteers as well as the Success Team of candidate pair President and Vice President number 02, Prabowo Subianto – Sandiaga Uno.
On his Facebook page, he also appeared to take pictures with several political figures. From a number of photos circulating, there was a moment when IAS was hosting the Deputy Secretary General (Wasekjen) of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Ustadz Tenngku Zulkarnain.
There was also a photo of IAS together with politicians from the Working Party of Titiek Soeharto and Chair of Kogasma Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono. In addition, it also appears that the IAS is taking photographs with political observer Rocky Gerung.
After an intensive investigation, the police finally determined the IAS as a suspect related to the viral video he made, this was because the video contained provocative content and fighting against TNI and Polri units.
Cirebon Police Chief Hermanto revealed that the examination showed that the videos uploaded by the IAS were related to the 2019 Election.
This of course must be an alert, so that people are not easily provoked by something viral on social media, and still be wise in accepting or seeing provocative content.
After being named a suspect, the IAS said that the making and dissemination of the video was made on a personal initiative. He also regretted what he had done.
In addition to making provocative sentences, the man wearing blue batik also mentioned the PKI and the anniversary date of the PKI.
In addition, he also mentioned the victory of pair number 02, Prabowo Subianto – Sandiaga Uno.
The provocative sentences have also been clearly heard at the beginning of the sentence in the video.
“Assalamu’alaikum wr.wb, colleagues who were glorified by Allah SWT, let’s continue to fight not to be weak in spirit because the more days we are stronger, do not be afraid of the threat of the Chief of Police by being shot on the spot.”
From this sentence, the perpetrator has shown delegitimation efforts towards the police who seem to be selective in enforcing the law.
“And I’m sure my entire TNI family is ready when there are victims, the TNI will fight with the National Police, don’t play – not all of them follow the commander, because everything is the truth,”
“And the people are angry, and God willing, the people are ready to die fighting in the way of Allah SWT,”
The sentence clearly stated that the TNI was on the IAS side, and was ready to fight against the police, this was the thing that managed to ensnare it until the police along with Resmob Ditreskrimum West Java Regional Police arrested someone who had made videos and neutralized hate speech and provocative statements.
In addition, he also confuses his sentences with PKI sentiments, which in fact will only spark emotions.

For his actions, the IAS is threatened with imprisonment for 6 years and a fine of Rp. 500 million in accordance with article 45 A paragraph 2 juncto, Article 28 paragraph 2 of Law No. 19 of 2016 concerning ITE.
In addition to the spread of videos of violence that occurred during the riots on May 22, 2019, it turned out that the tendency was to fight between TNI – Polri, the community must be wise in accepting the news as if trying to delegitimize the two state tools.
Society certainly has a role in maintaining peace and unity as a breath in democratic life. Of course the community also needs to be careful in receiving provocative nuances.
