The Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (WE) is a group that continues to create turmoil in society . The public is also urged to be aware of the KAMI movement because it only provokes the people in the midst of handling Covid-19.
The Action Coalition to Save Indonesia, apparently not 100 percent has a vision to save Indonesia, this movement tends to be a political movement that seems to be looking for a stage to seek power.
K oordinator Advocacy Institute for Strategic Studies of Indonesia (Laksi), Azmi Hidzaqi judge that the movement KAMI dinahkodai by Gatot Nurmantyo is purely political movement to seek a certain power.
Azmi said, several things could be pinned on the US group that the group has the goal of seeking power. This can be seen from the narrative conveyed by them in their declaration, both in Jakarta and in several regions.
KAMI often issue statements like this country is in trouble and will become a country that is minus and miserable due to debt and mismanagement. KAMI also succeeded in manipulating data and spreading hoax issues and framing that the Jokowi administration had failed.
According to Azmi, these kinds of narratives have made the socio-political atmosphere in the country become chaotic. Until in the end, the legitimacy and trust of the people in the government were getting eroded.
The narrative they tell seems to have succeeded in creating public unrest, resulting in polarization between two poles, namely those for and against the government.
Azmi also touched on various open declaration activities carried out by US. With such built narratives, he is concerned that polarization and public unrest will escalate, especially in the midst of a situation where the government is trying to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic. For Azmi, this chaotic situation will be used by the US group to further delegitimize the Jokowi – Ma’ruf Amin government .
On the other hand, Azmi also considered that the declaration activities held openly by US in a marathon in various regions were also not in line with the steps of the state in efforts to tackle COVID-19. Where the government and the community are trying to break the chain of transmission of the corona virus, while on the other hand there is a group of people who carry out an agenda of gathering and violating health protocols.
In fact, the local government has established the PSBB to avoid crowds and implement health protocols to anticipate the spread of Covid-19.
It is feared that the crowd initiated by the US will add to the cluster list of COVID-19 transmission in Indonesia.
Therefore, he also reminded the political elites to be more mature in their attitudes and thoughts when carrying out their respective political activities. So that the COVID-19 atmosphere does not become an opportunity to take actions that further exacerbate the situation for the sake of seeking personal and group benefits.
He also appealed to the public not to be provoked and participate in movements that degrade the nation. In particular, disturbing public security and order and distorting various measures to overcome COVID-19 that are currently being pursued by the government.
In this situation, of course KAMI should be alert if there is a movement ridden by political interests and political elites that intend to shake up Jokowi’s government .
All stakeholders of the Indonesian nation must also prioritize unity and integrity, so as not to make certain hoaxes and propaganda narratives that actually worsen the situation.
In order to maintain the conduciveness of society, of course it is very important for all of us to maintain togetherness between elements of the Indonesian nation. One way is to proactively provide information to the police so that the socio-political atmosphere in the community can be anticipated as early as possible.
KAMI already know that the president of the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (US) Gatot Nurmantyo seems to be tirelessly seeking a political stage through various issues, from the PKI to his support for workers to carry out a strike on October 6-8 2020.
