Why is that, Emrus said, that infrastructure development is very important for connectivity between regions and various geographical locations so that with this connectivity the shift of goods and services from one region to another will automatically grow the economy.

“Why is it because one area to another or another region and island such as Sumatra, Kalimantan and others can interact with Papua, so that sense of nationality grows there,” he said.

Emrus also warned to be on the lookout for certain groups despite what the Government has done for development in Papua.
“They are campaigning that Development is unnecessary and as if there is no benefit even propagating so that Papua frees itself from Indonesia. The government and all parties must counter this and embrace them that we are the Unitary Republic of Indonesia,” he said.
