KPK employees have been appointed as ASN on June 1, 2021. Their appointment is mandated by law. Therefore, no one should question the polemic of the National Insight Test (TWK), because it already has a strong legal umbrella.
The KPK is a state institution that has a noble function, because eradicating corruption is the greatest way to save state money from tie rats. If there are no corruptors, the country will prosper and funds can be channeled properly to the poor.
If KPK employees are appointed as ASN then it is very reasonable because they work in state institutions, therefore the workers become state servants. This appointment is an honor for them, because they have worked hard to eradicate corruption in Indonesia. They were inaugurated as ASN on June 1, 2021, to match the spirit of Pancasila on the day of the Pancasila awakening.
KPK chairman Firli Bahuri stated that the inauguration of KPK employees to become ASN was in accordance with the mandate of the law, namely the KPK Law aka Law number 19 of 2019. In this law article 1 number 6 states that KPK employees are ASN.
When their law is in place, KPK employees must be appointed as ASN, because if it is canceled it will violate the law. Meanwhile, the KPK is a state institution, so it is impossible to violate the law. The KPK Law is a solid legal basis and cannot be changed only with the protests of several individuals.
A law is very strong and cannot be changed just like that, only for a reason: sorry for the KPK employees who did not pass the TWK. When it comes to work issues, it can’t be with sentimental reasons like this. Especially when the employees who pass openly refuse. It means they disobey orders, even though they must be obeyed.
Likewise, if the protestors are outsiders. They can only tweet on social media and give psychological pressure. However, it still cannot change the decision of the KPK officials. An important decision cannot just be annulled, especially if there is a law as the legal umbrella
If it is in accordance with the mandate of the law, then the inauguration must be carried out, no matter what happens. Even if there is a worst possibility, for example a demonstration or a physical attack, this does not prevent KPK officials from carrying out an appointment ceremony.
Thankfully, the KPK employees were finally appointed as ASN on June 1 last. The event ran smoothly and no one demonstrated, except for a few on social media. The reason is because the public trusts the KPK and its officials.
While KPK employees who do not pass the test, some are allowed to work again until retirement, with the condition that they must attend national training. While the rest are still allowed to work until October 2021. Isn’t this a rule that does not violate human rights? The reason is because they are given time to get ready to work elsewhere.
The government has emphasized that if there are people who protest against TWK, don’t have long polemics. But immediately came to court to sue alias through legal channels. Later, the judge will decide whether the inauguration of KPK employees is in accordance with the law or not.
The inauguration of KPK employees as state servants has been fixed and in accordance with the mandate of the law. Don’t worry about it anymore or make a lot of news on social media. If this happens, it will only increase unrest and damage peace in Indonesia, as many argue. Let’s just end the polemic about the KPK because the employees have already been appointed as ASN, so the polemic has gone stale.
