Nadia said that approximately 5 to 7.5 million doses of vaccine are available from Bio Farma every week, so that there will be 21.5 million vaccines ready to be used in August. He said that currently the government has only received about 30 percent of the total requirement of 460 million doses of vaccine. Nadia asked the local government to set priorities.
Currently, 50 percent of the vaccine distribution is focused on Java-Bali, and from that area the distribution focuses on the agglomeration of 57 regencies and cities. Vaccine distribution may not be the same, because it must be focused on districts and cities where the number of cases and the rate of transmission are very high.
In an effort to reduce the rate of transmission, the government is collaborating with the TNI-Polri to encourage the acceleration of the first dose of vaccination in districts and cities, especially on the islands of Java and Bali. The private sector is also cooperating with opening vaccination centers, such as Traveloka, which provides vaccinations at the airport.
According to Traveloka Head of Corporate Reza Amirul, within two weeks the vaccination centers at Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport had served 14 thousand people. In addition to opening a vaccination center at the airport, Traveloka is also a collaboration with MNC cares with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, which is still running today. A total of 3.5 million doses of Moderna ready-to-use vaccines arrived in the country on Sunday, August 1, 2021. In addition to moderna, Indonesia will also receive 620,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine on August 2, 2021. The arrival of the two types of vaccines is an effort by the government to secure the availability of vaccines for the public.

He mentioned that the government continues to take important steps to accelerate health recovery, raise productivity and end the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. One of the steps taken by the government is through the policy of Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM).
