The leader of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Habib Rizieq Shihab (HRS) suddenly spoke out before Reunion 212. In the video footage circulating, HRS claimed to be banned from returning to Indonesia. However, the issue was considered to be fabricated because the alleged letter of evidence was only presented now and Indonesian law was not known for a ban for more than 6 months.
The issue of blocking HRS was made up. The reason, HRS is considered fishing in murky water by accusing a number of parties from conspiring to prevent him from returning home. Well, doesn’t he feel comfortable as an honored guest in Saudi Arabia? Then why do you want to go home soon?
Previously it was rumored that a grand reunion of 212, entitled “Munajat for State Safety. Maulid Agung and Alumni Reunion 212” also invited HRS. In fact, he was lined up to be a speaker at the grand event. This action was closely linked with political leaders to enliven the stage. Unfortunately, those invited are still entrenched in other countries, with overstayed fines that cannot be paid. As a result, after cornering the government, HRS continued to roll out the issue so that the “fans” in Indonesia would help him to go home. And what happens next? Boro-boro asked the government to be smooth and praiseworthy, they criticized if the priest did not return.
Instead of getting a solution, loyal followers of HRS will reportedly take action to raise funds to repatriate the FPI frontman. This further shows that the priest is dying to go home for the reunion, right? As for the costs for the payment of the fine there, a donation must be requested. Didn’t he say guest of honor?
The discretionary vote of HRS is now beginning to reach the ears of government institutions that are considered to have authority in matters of immigration. Namely, the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. According to the news this agency will provide clarification of the ban that befell HRS. This press statement will be led directly by Ronny Franky Sompie, as the Director General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
He said he considered if all this time there had been a polemic in immigration. Therefore, clarification is needed regarding the issues that HRS is rolling out. Ronny stated emphatically that the government in particular the Immigration Directorate General of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights had not issued any ban on the FPI high priest. He does not want any prejudice if this institution plays a role. So, it can be concluded that there was no effort whatsoever to prevent the return of HRS to Indonesia.
Although Habib Rizieq once said that the ban was not a result of immigration or criminal violations. But it is more on security issues. He helped strengthen the alibi by showing two bans. Then, what security reasons does this HRS mean, considering that the government does not stop or hinder HR’s steps to return to the archipelago. Even with the opinion of MenkoPolhukam Mahfud MD, since he served in the new building, his party has never issued any letters as alleged by HRS. Even the latest news, the minister is challenging to provide evidence of the ban on the virus.
Mahfud also added, logically if there is a ban, then the rule is only valid for up to 6 months. While Habib had been in Saudi Arabia for about 1.5 years feeling comfortable. So it can be interpreted that the problem is not in the Indonesian government, but in the Saudi government. Mahfud also invited Habib to take care of the problems that ensnared him there. He also did not hesitate to provide assistance if Habib needed. Because, he also has the same opportunity in obtaining protection as an Indonesian citizen. However, it still complies with the applicable rules of course.
Judging from the facts revealed, it seems that Habib does not need to act like a beard fire. Isn’t it clear that the relevant institutions in detail also provide clarification regarding this issue. So, there is no need to be made into a polemic anymore? Responding to those issues alone is draining, especially if the news thrown is not true. Is not the same as defaming the government name. Hopefully there is no other agenda of interest that HRS wants to roll out. Because, the government has also tried to be good to him. Do not let this matter will even divide unity. For HRS himself, please evaluate the error, what would be the reason he could not go home. Do not continue to lie to the public and discredit the government which does not do what is alleged.
