CIDISS – Health guarantee or health insurance need to have by the entire community of Indonesia. Moreover, health guarantee on health insurance has been involve to fisherman.
As we know, fisherman is a kind of profession that looking for or fishing fishes in the sea and directly faced many dangerous in the sea, such high of wave or sank.
Fisherman from Sukamara, Central Kalimantan Province, has involved to insurance for fisherman. It is said by Head of Fishery Agency of Sukamara Regency, Yofi Yudistira.
According to Yofi Yudisthira, Fisherman Insurance program in Sukamara is from Centre Government and there are 370 slots for fisherman. “The slots is from centre government, about 370 fisherman,”
But, Fisherman who involve in this insurance program need to have special requirement, such as the fisherman must join in the group and have fisherman card. So, fisherman who have not, they will not have the insurance.
Moreover, Yofi Yudisthira said, Sukamara regency is the first regency in Central Kalimantan Province that ever claimed insurance for fisherman. It happened when a fisherman died in the sea and got insurance fund amount of IDR 200 millions. “There are people of us dies when looking for fish in the sea, and got insurance fund amount of IDR 200 millions,”
In the beginning, fisherman is hardly to register in the insurance. Even the party has many facilities to make ease them. Moreover, the party also directly met to fisherman in order they want to register in the insurance.
But, there are fisherman accident such as died fisherman in the sea and bite by snake, it effects to the high of fisherman interest to the insurance.
