CIDISS. The 2018 Asian Games are over with extraordinary success and reaping a lot of praise from both domestic and overseas. No less exciting, soon we will welcome the 2018 Asian Para Games. Like at the Asian Games, Indonesia was entrusted with hosting the 2018 Asian Para Games. Indonesia is hosting the third Asian Para Games after China in 2010 and South Korea in 2014.
The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK) invites all Indonesians to complete the 2018 Asian Para Games. The spirit and support of all Indonesian people has an important contribution to all Asian Para Games athletes who will compete.
Nyoman Shuida Deputy for Cultural Coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for PMK invited us to show our enthusiasm for supporting Indonesian athletes who will fight in the 2018 Asian Para Games. Our support and enthusiasm mean a lot to their success.
In addition, Nyoman explained that the Asian Para Games which will be held on 6 to 13 October 2018 are an event to prove the strength of the Indonesian character in the sports sector.
Nyoman said, later those who will fight at the 2018 Asian Para Games are special athletes who have the character and high fighting spirit to make the nation’s name in the midst of their limitations.
Furthermore, Nyoman also explained that in the capacity as Chair of the INAPGOC Steering Board, Coordinating Minister for PMK Puan Maharani had done various strategic things to ensure the implementation of the 2018 Asian Para Games went smoothly and successfully. Thus, the momentum of Indonesia’s success in holding the 2018 Asian Games can be continued.
Nyoman explained, Menko had held a meeting and coordinated with various parties to ensure that the Asian Para Games could run smoothly and successfully as in the 2018 Asian Games.
Finally, Nyoman explained that the 2018 Asian Para Games was an important moment to show that Indonesia’s success in the 2018 Asian Games was the result of hard work and tireless struggle and relentless support from the community. The success of Indonesia in the Asian Games is the fruit of the struggle of the athletes and also the support given by all Indonesian people together with the government and this spirit must be transmitted and become a strong motivation for athletes with disabilities who will fight to make Indonesia proud in the Asian Para Games.
An honor for the people of Indonesia, this year can be given the trust to host two major events of the Asian Sports Party, Asian Games and Asian Para Games. Like at the Asian Games, in Asia Para Games, let’s also show the world that the Indonesian nation is a good host, a nation that excels, champions, and upholds sportsmanship. It is our joint obligation to support and succeed the 2018 Asian Para Games.
