Ministry of Industry encourages Electric Panel Industry to increase Local Components
CIDISS. The Ministry of Industry encourages the electrical panel industry that operates in Indonesia to increase the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) in its production process.
Through a press statement on Wednesday, the Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartanto said, the Ministry of Industry has issued regulations DCL optimization through the Ministerial Decree No. 54 of 2012 on the Guidelines for the Use of Domestic Products For Electricity Infrastructure Development.
He explained, the existence of electricity is like the heart of the life of the industrial sector. That is why, it is not excessive if investors who want to invest in Indonesia always ask about the availability of electricity supply.
So, in addition to having a large business opportunity, the electricity support industry also plays an important role in encouraging socio-economic activities of the Indonesian people.
Airlangga said that the electricity supporting machinery and equipment industry in Indonesia is growing and growing along with the increasing demand in the domestic market.
The Minister of Industry said, our industry is capable of producing everything from power generation equipment to electricity transmission and distribution.
Some products supporting the electricity that has been created by the domestic industry, including major components such as GIS plants, boilers, generators, power transformers, pumps, balance of plant (BOP), transmission towers, conductors, distribution transformers and electrical panels.
With the policy of using domestic products and the rapid development of concrete infrastructure, will bring wide-ranging double effects, especially to boost the performance of the national industrial sector.
