Number of Mayor ‘Smart City ‘ Will Be Attending National Meeting APEKSI in Ambon

A number of regional mayors have applied the concept of ‘Smart City’ or Intelligent City will certainly attend the National Meeting (Rakernas) Association of Indonesian City (APEKSI) which will take place in Ambon on May 5th until 10th 2015.
During this time, there are three categories of ‘smart city’, which are: smart economically, socially intelligent and savvy environment. City can be categorized as economically smart city when the city is already supported by a good economy; cities can maximize all the resources of the city and has potential as a producer of profits for the government and the population.
The town is entered as the smart city socially, when the city is already providing security, convenience and comfort when social interaction with fellow residents or the city government. While the city is categorized as a smart city environment, if the city has become a livable, healthy, efficient in the use of energy as well as energy management.
The mayors who have applied the concept of ‘smart city’ including Bandung Mayor Ridwan Kamil; the Mayor of Bogor Bima Arya; Mayor of Surabaya Tri Rismaharini; Makassar’s Mayor Danny Pomanto; Mayor of Banda Aceh Illiza Sa’aduddin Djamal; Balikpapan’s Mayor Rizal Effendi; Mayor A Rahman Buhari of Pontianak; Banjarmasin’s Mayor Muhidin; Awang Ishak Singkawang, The Mayor of Singkawang; Pekalongan’s Mayor Bashir Ahmad; Mayor of Banjarbaru M Ruzaidin Noor; Mayor of Solo FX Hadi Rudyatmo; Mayor of Tangerang Arief Wismansyah; Malang’s Mayor Anton and Mayor Mohammed Taha Marthen of Gorontalo.
