The Alumni Brotherhood (PA) 212 plans to hold a reunion on 2 December. A number of parties questioned the urgency and relevance of the activity. In addition, reunion events that involve large numbers of masses are also vulnerable to infiltration by stowaway passengers who can cause noise.
The 212 movement at that time was a movement which demanded that Governor Ahok be sent to prison for a case of blasphemy. As a result Ahok also went to prison on these charges. But apparently the 212 movement did not end there, even in volumes and in December 2019, the agenda will also be held again.
The question arises, why hold a 212 Reunion which turned out to be a political movement, as happened in 2018, where the action was not aimed at defending religion as its original purpose, but defending politics and overthrowing political opponents, even to the point that there was an accusation to ban leaders who pro against infidels.
The event was attended by many people from various places, of course how much money should be incurred. If only the money was used to help orphans or old widows whose homes are already decrepit, of course it would be more useful than just for acts under the guise of religion but laden with political movements.
The Chairperson of the Indonesian Muslim Brotherhood (Parmusi), Usamah Hisham, stated that he resigned from the PA 212. Advisory member. He considered that the 212 reunion at that time was very political and aimed at supporting one of the presidential candidates. He also emphasized that the defenders were no longer God, but human beings.
During the event, Prabowo Subianto, who was the rival of Jokowi in the 2019 Presidential Election, was invited at the time to elect Prabowo as a traitor when he decided to make peace and end the feud during the Presidential Election, that Prabowo is currently in the cabinet under Jokowi and served as Minister of Defense.
Even this event seemed to be full of political grudges, let alone suspected that Minister Prabowo Subianto was not included in the guest list to be invited to the event to be held at the Central Jakarta National Monument (Monas).
However, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, is planned to be included in the guest list in the upcoming 212 reunion.
This certainly shows how much hatred of PA 212 towards the government is extremely excessive, so that when Prabowo met with Jokowi and Megawati, PA 212 did not hesitate to call Prabowo a traitor, even trending on Twitter.
Of course we already understand that PA 212 wants to establish the Khilafah system in Indonesia, this shows that the support of PA 212 against Prabowo is a political ride as an effort to establish the Khilafah.
Of course the group that will hold the 212 reunion is worth watching out for, because the group aims to change the ideology of the Pancasila into the Khilafah.
This is evidenced by the statement of the Acting Chair (Acting) Chairman of PA 212, Asep Syarifudin who hopes that the Khilafah can stand tall in Indonesia. According to Asep a state system based on the Khilafah is not forbidden.
He hoped that the Khilafah could stand upright in Indonesia in 2024. Even though it was clear that the Khilafah was not compatible with democracy, then why did they then interfere in democratic matters in Indonesia, even to the point of claiming that their lord had won the presidential election, even though the official results from the KPU had not yet release.
We should be aware that the upcoming reunion movement could be a movement that provokes many people to no longer have a democratic spirit.
In connection with the concept of khilafah, Vice President Ma’ruf Amin once said that in this modern era there is no country that carries the idea. Because the concept of the Khilafah is not something that is agreed upon by all Muslims in 23 Islamic countries throughout the world. Of course it will be a big question mark, why is there a group of groups eagerly wanting to turn Indonesia into a khilafah country.
Though Islam does not determine let alone oblige a particular form of state and system of government for its adherents. The people are given their own authority to regulate and design government systems in accordance with the demands of the development of the times and places.
This means that every time there are efforts to emerge movements that threaten the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia, of course it must be resisted. Because it causes damage and division among the people. The proof is that supporters of Prabowo can be divided, between those who are pro to reconciliation and those who are contra by saying Prabowo is betraying.
